Offtopic spellcheck/firefox talk from Nobody's thread

I'm kinda like Profpat Neut., computer illiterate for the most part. Resize, tag? french to me brother. But maybe this will help. [sorry for the blooper] I do well to type, thank god for spellcheck!

    http://www.spacetelescope.org/news/html/heic0409.html

Good luck and if you repost it afterwards I'll have a nice replacement to the grandiose copy I have currently.

    Thanks in advance.

Ok, don't worry about it-- I've make the image smaller and uploaded it again.

I'm more illiterate than you are. I dare say, I'm the most computer illiterate at this site. Without my daughter and Austin I would be totally lost.

    Best to you Drifter,

    Pat

P.S. Compared to me, you're Steve Jobs

P.P.S. How do you use spell check for these posts?

Pat I am ten times more computer illiterate than you or Drifter, not wanting to boast
about it of course. Our idea of a mobile phone was two tin cans connected by a piece
of string.!We have a very old steam driven television, needs some attention though.

    regards michael.

    Well Profpat,
I type them, if their long ~because time runs out when I do so on the board and I lose the effort, ~into an email or a word doc. then cut and paste them here. Both have spellcheck.

    Best to you Profpat

You could use the free browser Firefox (which I do) that has the added bonus of having a built in spell check.

    Thanks guys.

I have done the word doc trick Drifter. It's really frustrating to have everything erased in the middle of a post.

Michael you win the illiterate prize. At least you don't have to worry about brain tumors with your mobile phone.

Neutralino I don't know how to use firefox i tried once but was a complete failure. I'll try again with your link.

    Again thanks to you all,

    Pat

    Hey Professor,
I think the "Browser" kinda works in the background, it's just a matter of gettin used to the "New Skin" we're in. I can't seem to find "my favorites" around here anywhere!
just gettin used to the little icon thingys too, I don't see that "embed" one anywhere on here either?

They should be imported when you install. If not, open a firefox window, and click "file>import" then follow the options to import favourites from internet explorer.

If you click on the "remember me" button when you sign in, it should stop you from being automatically logged out in the middle of posting.
