Hi RP....I think in the mystery we are all investigating there is a missing link and in my opinion that would be some intertwined link between evolution and the spiritual. Now that would be IMHO but I am searching for that link as I feel in one sense it is the TOE...
Peace Mikal
I don't know that the link will be the TOE itself ... but the TOE will be able to explain that link. Scientifically I feel that it already has thru biology, but that is a long way from the man in the streets understanding. Its in our nature to be able to invoke the spiritual and mystery when no other explanation is available.
For me Evolution is a complete explanation.

Hi Greg...have you read the book "The Biology of Transcendence" by Joseph C. Pearce. Its a remarkable book about what your referring to above. I was totally amazed when I read it and it might be the best book written for the man on the streets understanding...I can't yet make any valid statements about evolution cause I am just studying it now....In a way I'm depending on you guys to show me the way...and patiently share your knowledge with me....

The italicised part is the most important, here. Ultimately, whilst a community, this is Robert's forum, and he has very few rules: in fact, there are basically no rules that wouldn't be expected as the common decency of adults in everyday life, anyway. The members who broke the rules were warned many, many times, and are long standing members who know the rules anyway.
I have full sympathy for Robert, and urge members to abide by the rules and support Robert in his upholding of them.

If you haven't found something strange during the day, it hasn't been much of a day - John A. Wheeler.
Hi Neutralino...I have been studying the effects of forums on society. That study is revealing that we are quashing "political correctness" which had the effect to drive us into passivity. We are taking back the social right to participate and engage in our own society and how it functions. We are relearning "how to walk in life to the beat of our own drum."
All forum creators should be commended as opening up avenues that allow us to regain our social rights therefore participation here is a privledge which we need to highly value and respect. Forum creators are creating new positive history in the realm of social engagement!

I didn't notice any ban whatsoever…
Anyway, Mel, breasts and such are indeed all over magazines, but Robert mentioned to all that ToeQuest is PG-13…
Okay Dokey?
(OK, years was an exaggeration; I goofed; how about many many months)
Peace.
Hi Mikal,
You have my complete respect in this theory about the missing link, I too think it is the spiritual evolution that has been lost, and that's why the world as whole is pot-o-gold for some, and a not-so-sweet-pot for others.
I have been continuosly baraged by some for trying to bring an awareness to this point, it is so refreshing as to gladden my Spirit, purify my heart, and reading your feelings on this, I too believe the most significant topic at T.o.E.. IMHO
"Blessed is he who remembereth his parents when communing with God."
O God!
Educate these children. These children are the plants of Thine orchard, the flowers of Thy meadow, the roses of Thy garden.
Let Thy rain fall upon them; let the Sun of Reality shine upon them with Thy love.
Let THy breeze refresh them in order that they may be trained, grow and develop, and appear in the utmost beauty.
Thou art the Giver. Thou art the Compassionate.
My sincere apologies to folla rule... it's about the water, dear. ;- )
What evolves? Imo, First and foremost instance is the multi-faceted psyche,
could Psychology be the missing link?
Is the Science of PsychologyNeurology, the elephant in the living room that everybody ignores?
Bobby: "Psssst. Don't tell anyone. It's our secret! There's an elephant in the living room, but we're pretending it's not really there and it's not really an elephant."
Billy: "But it smells and it's enormous!"
Bobby: "Just ignore it. Maybe it will go away."
Sounds pretty silly, doesn't it? Ignoring an elephant in the living room. How could anyone ignore an elephant in the living room?
Just think for a minute what it would be like. An elephant would take up most of the room. It would be difficult to see the television, out the windows, or each other. Carrying on a conversation with an elephant in the living room would be tricky. And think what an elephant could do to the carpet! If the floor would even hold it, that is. And if it didn't rear up and knock a hole in the roof.
How can you think of much else except how to clean up the mess the elephant makes? What do you do when company comes -- put a doily on it? How can you even have a telephone conversation when there's an elephant trumpeting in the living room? And how do you convince the children, your friends, your family, and yourself there's not an elephant there? Okay, so no sane person would have an elephant in their living room.
