Debate is an art

I think everyone in this forum is aware that debating is an art. Learning how to debate is a process of learning no differently than anything else we learn in life. In that process we make mistakes, we learn about where our weakness is in debating and through those mistakes we learn what not to do and also the ethics of debating. I think also that in debating some find that process of learning easy and for others it is a longer process. Mistakes in the learning process here can be costly and lead to bannings so I feel to help everyone through that process those of us who have learnt and mastered the art to some degree should agree to bring patience and tolerance into our posts to help empower those who require a longer learning process. For those who have a longer learning process I think it is unreasonable for us as posters to demand instant learning because all learning occurs in a process. I think we should help to empower one another not disempower one another because everyone who comes to the TOE is here to drop some truths!

Insults, preaching, long quotes, name callings, nonsense, porn, repeated posts, etc, and more are not "truths"; they are forbidden on ToeQuest.

These people have been too problematic for too long, causing fights and trouble with 10 different people.

Once i asked robert to permanently ban me from the forum because i thought i was upsetting people all the time,

Also michaelkirkpatrick, he also writes to me personally through private PM's saying how much he supports my posts of non-duality,
and he said he likes me.

If people are getting into difficulties with others,
it doesn't instantly make us bad people
there are usually two side to the equation,
people do not in general ''Mouth off'' unprovoked.

Mikal is correct, she has the good sense to figure out what's going on here so too does Leskey.

Also one last thing, about the KiGs incident, that you seem unable to forgive.

I was not the only one involved in that incident,
ok i posted the Shut the F*Up image,
but what you seem to conveniently forget is that i was very apologetic to KiGs,
even posting some beautiful images, and some messages of love afterwards.
But you don't seem to want to see the good stuff, you only want to see the bad stuff.
That's all you seem capable of focusing on.

And also you mention PORN.

I hardly would describe it as porn, as you so dramatically do.

There are pictures of naked breasts all over the newspapers, even in magazines in newsagent shops.
There are naked people on tv soap operas, not to mention other tv adverts and programmes,
There is nakedness everywhere in the world today.
Look on the beach.

Now, let's not be afraid of our beautiful bodies, and label them.
We should be proud of our bodies not ashamed of them.

Take a leaf out of the scandinavians lives and culture, they don't have any bodily hang-ups.

Hi Greg...you know Tim should have said it in those exact words and I would have received his words....I study the laws of life...they are quite interesting and boy do they help one get rid of what we think are barriers to problem solving. When I studied them I thought wow this is crazy I have been living my life without the full knowledge of knowing what I am doing....crazy stuff...thats the stuff we should be learning in school...not the crazy stuff taught today...
I like Analogs posts cause he is so logical its smooth sailing to follow him. I'm kind of a multidimensional thinker but I feel that comes from the differing disciplines I have studied throughout my life...

Feel bad for both Drift and Austin...there is tough love and I guess tough lessons....

Hi Greg...I think the Laws of Life can be studied in different ways. I chose the Pythagorean principles simply because I was into studying ancient history, the historians of their time and the philosophical teachers. Can you explain what you mean exactly by studying them through evolution or otherwise expand on that for me??????

The laws of cause and effect are natural laws, as you say above. Natural laws like all laws, predict the outcome of events. In the case of natural laws they predict the outcome of Natural Selection or Evolution, they define the boundaries that events statistically occur in ... or you could say that it is 'sown into the seam of life'

Therefore you need to study evolution if you wish to study the natural laws.

Thanks greg...I have only taken up an interest in evolution since I came to the forum and thats why I told you when the TOE is not busy I am studying your posts, writings and all the knowledge you have garnered through your own passion to quest and study. I study in a meticulous manner so slow and steady progress, but what goes in gets dismantled into clear thoughts with all repititious and unnecessary info removed....what can I tell you I am a snail...smiles...but I got a memory like a whale...smiles...
