    The Age of Pieces

The "ages"... may be described as a time-line..... of human evolution.... as the planets continue to orbit in an orderly fashion...

The concept of the Astrological Age was most carefully defined by the celebrated psychologist Carl Gustav Jung ... who in the 1950s popularised the... Age of Aquarius.... He tells us that... "it refers to the actual constellation of fixed stars... not to ... the zodiac divided into sectors of 30º each" .... C G Jung Aion Chapter IV... The Sign of the Fishes.. Footnote 84.. 1951
He also tells us of a historical tradition which encompases.... "the transition of the Age of Taurus to that of Aries... and then from Aries to Pisces... whose beginning coincides with the rise of Christianity"... And that... "We are now nearing that great change which may be expected when the spring-point enters Aquarius..." C G Jung Flying Saucers.. Introduction... pp xi - xii 1959

[For more on what Jung wrote on this see C G Jung and the Age of Aquarius.]

Since the dawn of consciousness... the heavens have been divided into 12 equal parts... called the Zodiac... greek for "the circle of animals"... each equal part... being represented by an animal.... and relates to an astrological sign..

    (1) Aries... the Ra... (2) Taurus... the Bull... (3) Gemini... the Twins... (4) Cancer... the Crab... the Mother... the Home... (5) Leo... the Lion... the King... (6) Virgo... the Virgin... (7) Libra... the Scales... (Scorpio... the Scorpion... the Snake... the Eagle... (9) Sagittarius... the Archer... (10) Capricorn... the Goat... (11) Aquarius... the Water Bearer... and... (12) Pisces... the Fishes...

Presently we are in the age of Pieces... adjustments to the Gregorian Calendar have made it almost impossible to define exactly when this "age" began... however its been estimated the transition through the age of Pieces began in 5 AD... around the time of the Roman Catholic Church....

The Greek phrase: Iesous Christo.... Theou Uios.. Soter means ..."Jesus Christ, Son of God... Saviour" ( in english )
The Greek letters... I CH TH U S.... (which begin each word of the Greek phrase) in Latin spell the word "fish"....

This combination helps to set the scene for the Birth of the Piscean Age... of Christ.... (the Son/Sun)... as it came forth... from the "circle of animals"... (the ancient zodiac).... This 'circle of animals' phrase... also provides a key to the interpretation of.... the birth of the Christ in a 'stable'... (circle of animals)...

Our counting of years... (1 AD - 2000 AD)... begins from the estimated timing... of this most significant event... and marks the miracle of the Christic manifestation... (Christ entering the Earth)... and the age of the purification and redemption of Man.... Thus... the ancient zodiac announced the birth of the Christ... son of God... Saviour... whose symbol... like the Age that he heralded.... is the "fish"....

An additional astronomical metaphor... regarding the birth of Christ is found in the gospel of the boble .... which mentions... "shepherds watching their flock by night"- (Luke 2:

The name "planet"... is from the Greek word for "wanderer".... as the planets "wander" or move across the heavens.... across the backdrop of the fixed stars....

The ancient Sumerians referred to the planets as "those which are shepherded (sheep)... by the Sun." (Note: A close review of translated Sumerian "tablets" also indicates that the Sumerians were aware of a Sun centered solar system long before the arrival of Western Man.)

A "wise man"... or "stargazer" (astronomer/astrologer)... knowing in the astrological practices of the ancient Sumerians... would recognize this verse... "Shepherds in the fields watching their sheep"... as a "signal" incorporating astronomical symbolism... making reference to astronomers... "watching their flock by night" or star gazing... and witnessing the changing of the Age from Aries to Pisces.

    Re: The Age of Pieces

Actually, these ages go every 25,000 to 30,000 years. Some say 3,600 years, but that doesn't corrispond with ancient accounts according to I Ching, the Dreamtime Myths ( Australia ), Sefer Yetzeria, Mayan mythology, Native American mythology, Atlantian mythology, and other ancient cultural mythology.

When the sun, earth lines up with the center of the milky way....which is a black hole AND the Sun's twin returns to our solar system--a dormant star ignites. The ancients call this star "Nibru" or "Wormwood", we call it "Planet X". It's a dormant star that has an elliptical orbit and comes near Earth every 26,000 years. It's quickly approaching. When it does, it'll ignite and for a few years, we should see two suns in our sky.

Along with this our sun, earth will align with the center of the solar system, which, along with this visiting planet, will tilt our poles, and cause the core to reverse it's spin. That will mean--volcanic eruptions, tsunamis, super storms, or an "ELE" ---extinction level event. Life will re-start. We will also enter a section of the solar system for another 26,000 years---Aquarius. The universe is divided into 13 sections. We are passing Pieces...transitioning into the 13th sign, Ophiuchus which we must be in for the realignment to occur, THEN we move into Aquarius.

That's if I'm understanding all this correctly. It's exciting times we're living in. My fear, though is the cruelty mankind will demonstrate during the next five years. My heart shudders at humanity is capable of during this time.

    Re: The Age of Pieces

Its interesting that you should mention Ophiuchus the 13th sign because many who are curious about Astrology do not know there are actually 13 signs. When I came across the knowledge that the ancient system had 13 signs I then began to search for why the 13th sign was dissolved away. I discovered Ophiuchus represents the Goddess and such things like respect for the feminine, the mother and the earth. It was done away with by a strong paternalistic society and also for the reason to change the calendar to what it is presently from the ancient 28 day per month calendar. The sign also was heavily weighted with ancient occult wisdom so it probably disappeared around the time that the occult was driven underground in the spiritual/religious wars which took place throughout our history. Its an interesting sign with a more than interesting story attached to it....

    Mikal,

Ophiuchus is the sign of the "snake bearer", associated with healing, it's time is . It is associated with Moses' Staff, Imhotep, and Asephelas. I find it interesting that, as you mentioned, it's associated with the occult by some circles, rather than regarding it's healing & restorative energies, and in order to enter into the next age, the earth must be aligned with the constellation Ophiuchus who is centrally aligned with the center of the Milky Way. Ophiuchus is actually named after the Egyptian physician, architect, priest Imhotep.

If you were born from Nov 30 to Dec 17, you are NOT a scorpio, you are Ophiuchian. Scorpio is Nov 23 to Nov 29.

    Interesting stuff.

    Re: The Age of Pieces

Yes Ophiuchus is the lady with two serpents...they bite each others tail and become a circle representing the human psyche in its totality and relationship of man with the whole of nature. As separate the two serpents represent the two energies...masculine and feminine and Ida and Pingala. They also represent the shedding of the serpents skin so metamorphosis and transcendence to our deeper spiritual nature.

Whats interesting is the fact that Ophiuchus as the 13th sign means there is a 14th sign because the polarities in the circle must all have a center of balance...being curious about that I went to different cities looking for old antiquated books...I found this old book store tucked away in a corner of a little town which catered only to those who search for the occult books that were driven underground. The old gentleman fixed me up nicely with an old celtic book now out of print...

The 14th sign is the Unicorn...representing "the spiritual 3rd eye" (Horn)....the magic essence of the Unicorn represents the evolution of aesthetic consciousness and the horse symbol represents the psyche with man holding the reins of control over his/her own life...so transcendence to spiritual nature has been accomplished...

There are amazing truths in ancient astrology.....

Hi Dorthy, this is interesting and scary. Since this star is approaching, could that cause the real global warming? How is it going to ignite?

The Aquarius is the water bearer, does that mean there will be more or less water at our disposal? There are some places that the water is being depleted, but there is always the same amount of water on earth. Water can't be replenished in those areas so it goes elsewhere maybe causing some flooding?

Oh my, is it possible that more water can come on earth from that other star?
