The 'Animal Nature' in man is there as part of our ancestors legacy. 'Spirituality' must include acknowledgment of this too. ?? I dont see 'Animal Nature' as a bad thing, its bought us to our current level of awareness. And at the least it must be credited of making us capable of recognising that we have inner feelings.
Why do you think this should be discarded ?
If the 'Divine' is only experienced by Sadhna Practice, how was this discovered. In other words, for this practice to exist something else MUST have existed before.
Evolution explains this to me in a logical sequential structure. If this explanation fits all the known facts, why shouldn't it be considered as a viable alternative. At the least it provides a bridge between biology and consciousness
Touche good friend .... I tried, but I cannot find an argument to gainsay this. (point c)
