Re: Brain Waves — Illustrated

Brain Waves came about little by little—like building a stone fence by finding a stone here and there—an idea or two condensed out of a whole book (many books are like that) and some ideas I actually thought of.

Some differing conclusions were reached in the text since I have to keep all avenues of inquiry open in order to, I hope, someday get backed into a corner where the truth is hiding.

Pictures seem to help the mind visualize the words. I had some Superpaint/Photoshop compositions that I made and adapted or made special for the text. I’m trying to sell it on http://www.lulu.com/austintorn, but with so much color it’s too expensive for most to buy at around $30.

http://allyoucanupload.webshots.com/ lets you upload an unlimited number of pictures for free, which, although they don’t show up anywhere unless you pay (like in a webshots album), can be referenced by the ‘insert image’ feature of posts and articles. You just have to note the web address of where the pictures are and keep track of them in a file on your computer. If they only knew how many pictures I have! But I reduced them to 72 dpi so I guess they’re only a drop in the bucket of the ocean of infinite space on the web. They don’t all load — one or two at random seem to get dropped sometimes or eaten by sharks on their way under the sea.

I also have some great pictures of normal local reality (nature) that I embellished with better skies, trees, flowers and birds to show what it would look like on a perfect day. Do you know how hard it is to get birds to pose for you!

If only I could find a reality forum, I could put them there, but Robert probably wants us to stick to the TOE, although I don’t suppose the pictures take up any space since they are referenced to where they reside.
