THE ENTERIC NERVOUS SYSTEM

Hello Biology Forum. My name is Mike, I came to the forum recently primarily to find intelligent and wonderful people, to assist me in my particular struggle to clarify the mathematics of nature, which I call Fractal Dialectics.

Along the way, my 3 years experience in something called Human Design has caused more controversy and debate than I intended, but it is the most stimulating and fascinating logical and empirical labyrinth of ideas. It is not mine, I am an anthropologist by academic training, and I am exactly in the situation of the anthropologist tolerated in a strange tribe, and I bring their wonderful mythology to you now.

In Human Design there are three forms of awareness: The intuition of animals to react without what we call "thinking"; the conceptual abilities of the Human Neo-cortex; and a third form of awareness.
This third form and its material biology are currently the cause of a lot of debate amongst professionals in Human Design, that is those who make income as consultants with this knowledge, and there is a growing army across the planet. I do not fall into this category myself, but have been welcomed there as an intellectual mascot.

Human Design is shifting very much into medical research almost desperately seeking empirical scientific evidence.

So to cut a long story short, the biology of this new third form of awareness is most surprising – it is ALL the places where the inside meets the outside of the human material body in terms of gas liquid and solid. The guts and the enteric nervous system have been known to have unusual neural activity – here is a website on this topic found at random on a websearch today:

But the third awareness also involves the skin, the lungs, the digestive tract, the kidney, and the male prostate. I may have missed something out. I will also mention that the first awareness is rooted in the spleen and lymphatic cleansing in Human Design.

So what is the essence of this third form of awareness? The answer is very curious.

Time and space and consciousness and material form are all a single fluid mechanics in Human Design. In that clockwork flow, measured by the stars and solar system in an ocean of both photons and neutrinos, evolution happens when the earth orbit reaches a precise position in space and time. Evolution randomly mutates to specific deadlines! And late in March 2027, - I think you should sit down for this, you may not be expecting shocking stuff, and I tell you there is both rational and empirical support for all this, but … we will see. Human Design is in many ways similar to a millennium cult. In March 2027, a distinct SPECIES will emerge from the wombs of human mothers.

Inevitably it is hard to stay on board such appalling insults to our intelligence. I have my dialectics to allow me to hold contradictory beliefs at the same time, so I define true intelligence as the ability to hold apparent contradiction and resolve it in new ways. I am voracious and fascinated to see this presented as logic and too SHOCKED to find other empirical evidence together with this naughty perversion of all we take as sacred.

But sacred is relative.

The change will be subtle of course. The last mutation is said to have occurred 90,000 years ago when the female discovered the blow job. That is my interpretation – the official Human Design story is that the larynx "dropped" in the female enabling new tonal sounds essential for language communication. I say it was "pushed".

This mutation is said to be in the male and specifically concerns autism and the prostate. Now I have autism. I have the many symptoms of Asperger's Syndrome in my own style and flavor, so you can imagine my ears pricking up to some idea that I am an upgrade on the human species.

Autism is in Human Design the mistaken label for adults and children with the coming AWARENESS.

This new awareness cannot operate until the cosmic clock is ready for it. It is there in mythology – the Age of Aquarius, the New Age, The Matrix, X-Men, Harry Potter, Vanilla Sky, we are talking about a disintegration of reality as we know it, and autistic people do not care for our reality because we experience a world of love and connection externally to their bodies. Autism is love, ask my wife, my children, but it is not competence in human terms except in the absurd crap that passes for academic stupor. A new form of INTELLIGENCE gives Rain Man, and me, some abilities that we presume are neo-cortex, because we only know of that.

So it is astonishing for me to hear the discussion live and as they happen now about the enteric neural brain in the gut – this is all new and all unfinished discussion happening on the internet as we speak.

The prostate is what exactly? Science does not know. Human Design will not tell, perhaps they know, they are not saying. Here is my idea. It is the recording head on a tape recorder.

In Human Design LIQUID stores memory. I see this holographically as explained by Izhtak Bentov many many years ago – if you freeze the ripple on the surface of a pond, you have a hologram.

Our need to freeze things into immutable solid is not at all the way nature works. Nature has memory in the flow – DNA is process, with RNA, nature has worked out how to remember within fluid dynamics, obviously.

The male of our species would seem, using logic plus Human Design, to PROGRAM human experience as memory into the liquid output through the male penis. Semen and urine specifically have an ABSURD plumbing through the prostate, so I see it as the recording head on a tape recorder, and notice the female has no such device at all. In my interpretation, the female programs a solid form of excrement – the human baby.

HD forces us to think and that is what I love about it. So the neural activity of the guts is to be seen as spiritual intelligence doing what? Making sh... How beautiful. Spiritually we are taking in stuff and putting semisolid vibrations as it were in the structure and other aspects of our excrement.

At times the founder of HD, Ra Uru Hu, has implied even our domestic and industrial garbage is some art form that will nourish some future form of life, and he is very clear that all art is excrement. My reply is that we appear to all be dung beetles!

Spirituality – how lovely – and the work it does is so utterly dirty, Mother Teresa in the streets of Calcutta, my favourite Seventh Day Adventists Mr & Mrs Maddox run an orphanage near the Angkor Wat Temples of Cambodia, and these people smile so radiantly!

And here I am. What am I doing?

Anyway, I have rambled too much and look forward to sensible and stupid reactions – there is a lot to digest…

I've always thought that the human brain is distributed throughout the nervous system, throughout the body, that its place of residence is not exclusively between the ears.

In my latest thread "Reconciling God and Science" in the Spirituality forum I coincidentally touched on the indole molecule in the company of the peptides found in the gut. Indole is a product of putrefaction and also the molecular nucleus for certain hallucinogenic compounds: the Lysergines (LSD); Ibogaine; Dimethyltryptamine (DMT); Psilocybin etc., not to mention the purple dye Tyrian Purple. The peptides found in the gut are essentially the same as the neuropeptides found in the brain.
