    Brain technology

Is there anyway, besides hypnosis for thoughts to be brought to the forefront of the brain? I want to read my entire subconscious or unconscious, I know my whole brain is constantly active and that I use it all but why isn't it letting me know the unknown or underlying things in it? I am making most of my life decisions from my sub and unconscious part of the brain influencing my conscious.

I would love to see some technology that actually projects images of what the brain is seeing. Like my subconscious or unconscious (I don't know the difference between the 2 I just know it's unknown to us), for me to consciously see it projected in front of me, wow. Not just think about it, but actually see what that part of the brain sees. What if we can see much more than just this life? I think technology should go in this direction. We can already scan the brains, why not see what the brain is thinking? Is that something religious people would object to? You know what I mean? Is it immoral to see what people are thinking? Like how they object to stem cell stuff. I wouldn't mind people reading my mind coz we are all koo-koo in our own way, but at least I will be able to explain my kookiness.

To get a feel for what is actually going on in the brain, may I suggest reading "The Quest for Consciousness: A Neurobiological Approach" by Christof Koch.

As for getting a brain dump, the closest I know of was Wilder Penfield in the 1940s who randomly touched parts of the exposed cortex of conscious patients undergoing surgery. The patients then described the memories invoked - fascinating and exciting stuff. (But it probably won't be appearing at Six Flags for a few years yet.)
