The pond could have acted as a reflective surface, winter or summer, and with other people, activities and light sources nearby, I might guess that it was some combination of events that caused the phenomenon you both observed.

Here is a link to circumhorizontal arcs, which are another really unusual effect of light, although would not account for what you saw, the conditions required being quite specific.

Thank you for sharing your unusual experience. Some things occur rarely, and not everyone shall have occasion to witness every possible thing.

I am very skeptical myself but the psychic lady told me there was something flying around my head too, that was a couple years before. I remember feeling the breeze and hearing it too. It made me move my head to get out of the way, but I didn't see it then. That's why I am not sure it was just some optical thing because I was in another country and same thing but with a different person, one adult pointed it out to me and a 2 year old boy that could barely speak pointed it out to me too. I will just tell myself that it was some sort of reflection so I don't think about it or question it anymore. I don't know what kind of an answer to expect so I guess it makes no difference as to what it is.

I just searched paranormal pinwheel and I found this. It's kind of similar to my experience AND their was a very old graveyard next to my apartment building. The land was protected so nothing could be built on it. But that doesn't explain the psychic lady experience.

My pinwheel experience also varied with what it did. It moved, it stood still but it constantly fluttered.

"Other human adaptations to the cold are more mysterious. Tibetan Buddhist monks can raise the skin temperature of their hands and feet by 15 degrees through meditation. Australian aborigines, who once slept on the ground, unclothed, on near-freezing nights, would slip into a light hypothermic state, suppressing shivering until the rising sun rewarmed them.

You have no such defenses, having spent your days at a keyboard in a climate-controlled office. Only after about ten minutes of hard climbing, as your body temperature rises, does blood start seeping back into your fingers. Sweat trickles down your sternum and spine."

The first virginal invisible spirit ...... presumably no male could find her. Or him, as 'she' is an emanation of an unknown father.

So an unknown man fathered the first virgin spirit who is apparently androgynous ?

    Re: m.o.m

Ah…jeez it was you guys who must have set off that volcano in Alaska. Didn’t your Mother tell you not to throw wine bottles with fresh fumes around a volcano caldera????
    Just joking dear…smiles….

Thanks for your very kind hopes Greggy but 2011 is kinda dragging on into 2012 for me. It’s just nasty watching a family member battle cancer and really I’ve never felt so helpless in my life. I have strong faith with what is put before me and what can I tell ya but Mom’s are supposed to be Angels that lift their children when they can’t fly so the last seven months have been trying. Everyday one of my kids breaks a wing!

Thanks for update on Lesk. She’s a special gal and the new man is one lucky guy….give her, my regards if you see her. Also seen the pics of your mountain cabin…EXCELLENTIO…my friend, it looks like paradise.

    Kind regards Mikal

I really wish you'd stop banning Drifter. What has he done now but share a knowledge like everyone else here?
If we are willing to go that extra mile and be bothered to delve a lot deeper into universal truths, we may start to understand exactly what Drifter is attempting to point out to us.

I can't believe how many times you have barred him from the community, have you even wished him a happy new year?

And yet night after night, Antonio and Michael are allowed to cackle on and on about nothing of any significance like a couple of old women, and nobody bats an eyelid.
