We have a tag cloud!

ToeQuest members now have the option of, when creating a new thread, entering a series of "tags" that act as keywords that describe the thread. You will notice that I have added a TAGS menu option in the upper navigation menu bar that will take you to a "tag cloud". The more times a tag is used, the larger the text grows in the cloud.

In addition, the tags in the tag cloud are searchable. When you click on a tag, a list of all threads tagged with that particular keyword are displayed along with the first 30 words of the thread. Clicking on the thread title will take you to that thread. The tags associated with a thread will also appear above the thread. Clicking one of those tags will display the related threads, same as before. I have also added a new "Search Tags" option in the search dropdown menu. This allows members to search for specific tags. One last feature, once every hour the tagged threads will be linked with their corresponding interest tag on the Zoints Forum Network.

So, try it out and let me know what you think. It should help you search for threads on a specific topic and then jump off to threads of related topics, by clicking the tags that appear above the thread. And even if it doesn't help you, it looks COOL!

P.S. Sorry to hear about your expedition to hell and it's certainly good to have you back. Also, why, after all this time of having created this tag cloud format, is this entry by Truly Yours the first entry following your introduction to the Misc. Tag Cloud series? (Just asking?)
