First, I'd like to encourage all of you to choose an avatar to represent yourself in these forums. The way you do this is by going to your User Control Panel (User CP) and click "Edit Avatar" on the left hand section named "Settings & Options". Or you could just click here. You will see a list of avatars you can choose from and a drop down menu which lists additional groups of avatars.

I have just modified the forum code so that members cannot choose the same avatar. If an avatar is already selected you will now see the word TAKEN under that avatar.

This leads us to 2 problems:

1. There are only 71 avatars and close to 300 members. The solution is that I will be adding additional avatars over time. Also, by becoming a member of the TOE Club, you are given the privilege of uploading your own custom avatar.
2. The next problem is that we have 6 members who have duplicate avatars already. Since this can be confusing and disorienting, I have a solution. I'll send email to those users asking them to consider another avatar. I'll wait about a week and then, for each group of members with the same avatar, I will take the avatar of the member with the lesser number of posts, and I'll add a distinguishing feature of some kind [img]images/smilies/icon_wink.gif[/img].
