Robert, fearless leader, in respect of trimming the forums i suggest the following three theories as basic forums and within these three we can have branches as the need arises.

(A) The T.O.E. or Theory of Everything as the most prevalent in our world is based on the assumption that matter is the fundamental reality of the universe and that mind and consciousness are products of the motion and interactions of matter. This theory is proven to be non-science as it has not and cannot be tested to establish its true or false status.

(B) The T.O.N. or Theory of Nothing is based on the established fact that there are no solid objects only interference waves that the brain decodes as the 3d hologram or physical-material objective universe in which there is no solid object or objects. Quantum Physics has established this fact.

(C) The T.I.E. or Theory In Everything is based on the "separate Entity" in the human body called "spirit" which is Unchangeable Permanence. And, which in enlivening and bringing to life the every-thing in the Theory of Every-thing - and in being the hidden unknown in the Theory of No-thing is the Theory of Everything that ties both of them together. It can only be established as truth by each individual within their own consciousness by reconnecting their "awareness" back with their consciousness and experiencing Infinite Consciousness.

In tying both together the T.I.E. or Theory In Everything takes us to the T.O.E. or Truth Of Everything.

I understand the issue of you bringing your nonsense into another thread just fine. I can see just from this thread that you were either lacking in awareness of appropriate decorum, or that you have a childish disregard for appropriate behavior. I gave you the benefit of the doubt by addressing the issue as if it were mere rectifiable ignorance, but I now see that this is not the case.

This post of mine was a bit more rude than the previous one, but justifiably so. If your feelings are easily hurt, I suggest you do not give me reason to demonstrate what real rudeness is.
Elizabeth, we have enough conflict with the moderators here - you are not a moderator - so i suggest that you mind your own business.

And, if you cannot stop your rudeness you should go back to that other forum that you were probably kicked out of for the rudeness that you are displaying here. Can you not see that you are doing what you are accusing me of. Are you blind. Rudeness such as what you are displaying here is not at all helpful it is nothing more than an attempt to belittle the other person Please do not help me i do not want or need your help.

This is ToeQuest not that other Forum we do not need your rudeness here.

Please shut up or talk about something else you are becoming far worse than what you are complaining about.

IC,

If Robert tells me to go, I will. Somehow I don't think that only moderators are allowed to have an opinion here. BTW - I don't see "Moderator" under your name either. If you have to go whining to administration because you can't make your point logically in a debate, and you don't want anyone else to comment on your childish display, then perhaps you should just whine in a pm so that everyone does not have to see it. If you post it publicly, IMO that makes your comments fair game for others to comment on.

BTW, I do still post on the other forum, and just yesterday someone commented that I'm probably the only one that uses a softer approach there - so comparitively, I'm nice. My tone to you started off as helpful. Your tone throughout the thread has been that of a spoiled brat throwing a temper tantrum. I tried gingerly being extra nice, but I believe that it would be immoral of me to not try to encourage more mature behavior from you. Whining becuase people are not cowtailing to you is manipulative bullying, and I don't tolerate people bullying other people. Furthermore, my words are still designed to be helpful to you if you could only stop being egocentric long enough to understand them - but I recognize that is beyond your capabilities for the moment, so I acknowledge that I am being rude.

I also suppose that without proof, you will neither believe that I'm still a member there, nor will you believe that anyone gave me such a compliment, so here is a link to the thread with the compliment in it:

Hi Robert, I believe Mr. Nobody has given the best advice of all these posts. I fully support his meaningful communication views, and the fact of, at the least, asking opposing parties to fully communicate their differences, instead of avoiding, with insults...

Lloyd

Well Robert, this seems to be a great idea for a forum; “The Virginia Wolff” forum. Everyone is allowed to insult all those who oppose their views as long as they do not get vulgar. You would have to disable moderator power in that forum though.

In that spirit IC, you should go know yourself better.

Thank you Dave for your most astute observations,we all need to be civil
and good mannered toward each other,I am often guilty of this myself
and need to attend to this promptly.

We need to set an example.

regards michael.

Thanks Michael but I believe it is better to provide unrestricted honest opinions as opposed to being purely civil in terms of politically correct, even when I’m on the receiving end.

A civil person does not post their personal metaphysical or spiritual agenda onto threads started by members seeking scientific discussions in the science forums. If you are going to be civil, you should start by monitoring your own house first. That would truly be the next big thing.

I agree. To me, it seems far more likely that we can get to the truth if we are not too afraid to say something out of fear of offending someone or having reputation points taken away.

For example, in one thread I noted that someone had a poor opinion of science today. Instead of asking him to back up his opinion with supporting facts, the next poster chastized him for criticising science. The original poster then pretty much gushed an apology - and the truth of the matter (of whether or not science today sucks, if so in what way, and how might science be improved) was never addressed. Perhaps the original poster had a misconception - but instead of clarifying facts, somebody just got him to stifle himself by calling him rude.

Although there are times when a line is crossed and uncalled-for behavior must be corrected (and even that should be explained with a better why than "it was rude"), usually the option of being able to hash something out leads to deeper understanding from all parties than stifling thoughts for the sake of "civility."

Are we on a quest for truth, or a quest for not rocking the boat?
