GREAT IDEA NEUTRALINO, DOES ANYBODY ACTUALLY KNOW ONE?

Best to all,

Pat

Well, yes several, but not anyone who would have the time or patience to come here! I suppose that whoever is the moderator of the cosmology forums is an expert though, or is that not how things work here.

At the university that I teach at they only offer a PhD in chemistry, physics is only part of the core science courses. They do offer an ask the professor service, but you would be better qualified to answer the physics questions.

Best,

Pat

P.S. I guess we'll have to wait for an answer from Robert

The monthly theme is "The Expanding Universe" and the theme's home page is here. From there you can get to the forum and other areas of the website (or external) that relate to the theme.

The quiz will be written by me using input from you guys and the information that comes up in the threads and references that are given. I realize that some questions do not have answers that all will agree on so there could be potential for controversy on how the tests are graded. I'll try and word the questions in a way that reduces ambiguity.

For a true Theory of Everything, a critical question will eventually become, "Why do we care?" Questions such as "Why are we driven to unify?" and "What will be the benefit?" are all similarly pertinent. A Theory of Everything is not complete until it answers such questions as well as what has caused the quest for such a theory. Thus, a Theory of Everything is not complete until it includes a theory of the brain, mind, and emotion. For a Theory of Everything, we must be able to look into it like a mirror and see ourselves.

"The organism is conceived of as characteristically an energy system, storing energy and releasing it in activity of one form or another." - Elizabeth Duffy

Sorry about that . It's open now. There's not a lot there but I'll be adding stuff as the days go by. I think the tabs look way cool. I'm using AJAX to switch tabs without needing to refresh the whole page.

The forum appears on the main forums page near the top in the category named "Month Themes". Or just click here to go straight to the "Universe Expansion" forum.

I'll just jump right in. How about contoll as a theme sometime. 1984 style control existing on a metaphysical plane. Boundries of a higher, mundane, and lower order manifesting themselves in the material world and in our selves.
