I love it Tina;
Is that our Christmas gift? Would had been better if it was the real you however, and not your avatar.
I'm also jealous, who is Ken and Tom and 8ball?
Merry Christmas Tina, and Happy New Year,
Pat
Yes I'm increasingly interested in autonomic processes. Specifically autonomous cellular functions.
Are they keeping us alive because we will it, or do they function according to some greater plan. Perhaps the definition of autonomous provides the anwser in itself (http://www.m-w.com/cgi-bin/dictionary?va=autonomous)
but I don't think so.
It is neither our will nor a blind universal mechanics which drives the internal controls regulating autonomic functions but perhaps it is a combination of both. I don't believe that any one cell or process is truly autonomous but I do believe that independent cellular or atomic processes have the ability to register thier own accord.
Perhaps I'm concerned with this as I am concerned with my own "good" health and it is a mystery to me why I keep ticking. If I may I will send a simple message to my macro and micro processes saying keep up the good work and while you are at it, help me to understand other dimensions while keeping me coherent in this one.

Tina, I think it's a good question, but try to reverse it, "If control on reality (in any form) did not exist (or for that matter was discarded, rejected, disreputed, or denied) would the absolutes of our present reality remain or would a new (physical or mental) reality manifest itself?"
Firstly my thoughts on the nature of control: Every organic thing is ultimately controlled by the determinations of its DNA...that's what runs the show.
I assume that the control you question is not of this DNA variety but rather the 'arbitrary controls' that arise from anything other than instinct. If this is the case then of course a new reality would manifest itself and the absolutes would be reduced to what they are - constructs. For example the idea of equality is not witnessed anywhere in nature - we invented the idea and the try to acheive it - yet it does not exist.
Hope Im not too off track Ive only read two of your posts...![]()
Fangs, or as they say in my country "dank je wel".
