Who is your favorite Welcome Lady?

First, a definition. A welcome lady is the lady who poses on the ToeQuest home page and encourages people to join our community. She only appears when you are logged out of the website and you are at the homepage. A lady will be randomly chosen from the six below so you may need to click refresh a few times to see the full set of ladies. You are all probably familiar with ladies 1-3; they've been with us for a long time. Ladies 4-6 were introduced today. It sure took a lot of sweet talk to get them to pose for me .

I've been considering adding some male images, but I'm not really a good judge for how an attractive, yet professional male would look. Perhaps some trial male images. It might be interesting to see which images pulls in the most new members.

Number 6 is the best, she got my vote. Classy, sexy and a beautiful smile. The other girls look cheap, no wonder they got votes. The first one is terrible, the worst angle and look on face.

<frown>... this all is depends upon the image the website wants to project... i'm not an expert on advertising but to my mind the women are catagorised in my tiny mind as follows:

1 amature technology page (like a learn yourself how to use PC software)
2 family clothes shop (littlewoods, BHS etc)
3 Our website is in desperate need to keep your attention and we're using scantily clad women to do that cos the content isnt up to much
4 trendy hairdressers
5 this one reminds me of Ortak jewelry or high end fashion
6 honest reliable - you can trust our product to solve your constipation or piles <eeks>

What exactly do you want folks to think of the site?.... Serious, fun, challenging? What about something Iconic as a brand ?..... ooo ooo or male??.. oh so many suggestions and absolutely no vote.... i wouldnt vote for any. Sorry to be a party pooper

The whole idea of welcome ladies is somewhat questionable. Their purpose is to offer something a little different from the ordinary to grab the visitors attention and get them to register. When searching for images I used keywords such as professional, sexy, impatient or friendly, attractive, etc. One risk of using ladies is that the website does not intend to cater to men only, yet the use of welcome ladies may attract men and offend potential female members. You ladies will need to weigh in on that.

Here's my take on the ladies:

1. A professional lady that conveys a sense of impatience with the lurker. Tells the visitor to register or be in big trouble. I thought the angle on this lady was unique and attractive. I may be the only one though.
2. This lady is serious, sexy, and somewhat impatient. Certainly an attention grabber.
3. This lady is just hot with cool sunglasses. Probably too much skin showing but not obscene. I knew this was approaching the border of indecency but didn't think I was crossing the line. I like the hand gesture indicating the lurker should stop; it goes well with the "Stop and Register" message.
4. This lady just seemed intriguing with her downward look, trendy hairstyle, and her clipped image. She grabs your attention more from her unique presentation than her sex appeal.
5. Somewhat mysterious. Arouses a visitor's curiosity. I think the text doesn't quite match the image so I'll need to update that.
6. This lady is professional, friendly, trustworthy. She is not flaunting her sexual appeal to attract members. A similarly equipped male image would probably work also.

So there seems to be three messages to the guest: 1,2,3) Register or/and I'll spank you. 4,5) We are intriguing. Come explore us. 6) Register and be happy.

I usually keep the forum page bookmarked but if I use another computer I search Toe quest and get that girl page. When I noticed the women, I thought they looked cheap, honestly. I figured it was an intention to attract men and not woman. I wasn't offended or turned off by the site, just wondered what the hell were you thinking using unattractive women? Now there is an Indian lady that you don't have on the list, I saw her yesterday and she has an air of being tasteful to her. I'll have to take some pics and send them to you and you can just use me. I won't wear a bra (in a cold room) but a tight top and skirt. Heels? Curly or straight hair, I go both ways but my husband likes straight coz he likes to pull and touch it all the time.

Ok, I got it, the perfect ad and scenario.

Me standing, top partially unbuttoned pulling my hair up. Or, me sitting with the blouse unbuttoned low, cleavage shot, pulling a stocking up one leg. And the ad goes like this; Don't wait for me to finish dressing, join now. Then display whether I am logged on or off. I'll display a lap top with toe quest on the page, that way it will look even more close to home and not some stock photo.

If you have an actual member in the photo, guess what, people are more likely to join coz they will think you are all sex bombs.
