    New ToeQuest Styling

Attention members! Sometime tomorrow I'll be giving ToeQuest a bit of a face lift with a new default style and one additional optional style. The current default style will be made optional in case you don't like the new styles. The new default style will have a mostly white background while the new optional style will have a dark gray background. I've also added a new logo on the footer of the new default style. Be sure and check back tomorrow and let me know what you think.

    Re: New ToeQuest Styling

It is done! The new styles are named 'ToeQuest Light' and 'ToeQuest Dark'. ToeQuest Light is the default style so it should appear automatically. If not, you can choose your style preference using the drop-down menu at the bottom of any page, or you can make your selection on your Profile Page at 'My Settings' > 'General Settings' > 'Miscellaneous Options'. Click here to go their directly to your Profile Page.

Please report back here or PM with any problems, questions, or suggestions.

Thanks Robert. I went through the selections of forum shadings and enjoy having the options.

I've got it on the Blue and Gold scheme right now - looks like a good one. The black/orange is a nice seasonal selection as well

    Re: New ToeQuest Styling

    Hello Robert,

I checked out each of the options that you have offered, and find them all attractive in their own way. When I then went to examine the two dark options a second time, the program would not give me any option other than the default. I have not tried navigating away from this page and return yet to see if that frees things up.

Perhaps the program is not fond of being tasked by indecision, lol.....

They are all nice, so whatever it throws at me, I can work with. I do appreciate your work in maintaining a site that is user friendly and that has professional visual appeal, being neither too 'busy' nor too 'stark' in my estimation.

    Regards,

    Lorrina

    Re: New ToeQuest Styling

After I navigated away and then tried the options once more, the program has now become responsive. I think I'll rotate them by intervals of several days and see if I detect any physical effect or psychological preference and toy with them for a while. Your Avatar looks significantly more mysterious on the dark backgrounds. Greg will be coming round to increase his offer for the use of same, as I recall he was quite fond of it when you trotted it out.
