First let me apologize for the delay in sending out the newsletter. As you may recall, I updated the forum software a while back and the newsletter was no longer supported. However, I was able to purchase an upgrade to the newsletter recently, so this issue is the first one since that upgrade.
The last newsletter was sent out on or about August 22, 2006 so this one will cover what has happened since that date.
To summarize, below is a partial list of updates to the website: * upgraded forum software to vBulletin 3.6.2 which is the latest as of today. * added a new style option default. * added a second style option named "Tech Two". It's functional but I need to expand the menu coverage. * added new menu support. * upgraded the 'member articles' section and I now provide menu access. * added a real time display of forum posts. * added a news feed to side column of the forum homepage. * added multiple news feeds, accessible from the forum menu. * added zoints to forum. * added random member article display to home page. * added 'welcome ladies' to the home page to encourage lurkers to register. * many more 'behind the scenes' work to keep the forums functioning properly.
Member Blogs: I'm always working on or tracking new features that could help is in our quest for the Theory of Everything. The feature I continue to track is a product that provides member blogs to all members. Once it reaches beta status I'll integrate with the website and port your old journal entries to the new product.
Newsletters should be going out every two weeks, usually on Sundays.
