Welcome to another issue of the ToeQuest Newsletter! The last newsletter was sent on April 18th so this one is long overdue, but only because I've been so busy .
Forum ----- I updated the forum software to vBulletin v3.6.5 only to find that v3.6.7 is now available. I'll hold off on that one a few weeks to be sure that the other website components will work with it. I added the PM and Thanks buttons to the tech two skin. These buttons appear below the posts and let you conveniently send a PM to the author or give the author a 'Thanks' for a well done post. At the bottom of the forum home page I updated the statistics to include Guests in the last 24 hours and members who have posted in the last 24 hours. There is also the number of Active Members at the bottom of the page. This is the number of members who have logged in over the previous 4 weeks. Be sure to login to the website whenever you visit so we can get that number a bit higher. Last time I checked it was 124. Plus, when you login to the website you will see the shoutbox, announcements to members, and additional features are available to you.
Library ------- I updated the ToeQuest Library to the latest release and have moved it to a new domain. I'm going through the articles to update the layout, font, image references, etc. and this is a very time consuming process. It will be finished by the end of this week and I'll contact all authors at that time. A new feature of the library will be revenue sharing so authors can receive a percentage of the Google Adsense revenue. I'll link the new domain with toequest and provide an RSS feed to the homepage.
LaTeX ----- I have added LaTeX support back to the website. Please read this thread for more information: http://www.toequest.com/forum/news-announcements/2545-latex-back-again.html.
Blogs ----- I added a new blog module that allows you to link to your favorite YouTube videos. You can check mine out at http://www.toequest.com/forum/blogs/...g.php?userid=1. I have integrated the member blogs with the image gallery. If you're a Toe Club member you can display images uploaded to your private image gallery. Please contact me if you need help using this feature.
And lots more that I can't remember.
