Sorry but you ARE an extremist. Don't deny it to yourself. I was a very strong extremist during the last year, maybe for the last two, because I'm sick of all this relgious world. How would YOU feel in a world where, let's say, 90% of the people where atheist? Not good. Don't reply to me that you wouldn't care, because you would. You would become more extremist, any kind of extremism occurs when there is critical events. Fascism and comunism in politics, prove that. I am, as all atheist, in a critical position. My father, my mother, my brother, my sister, my cousins, my uncles, my grand-parents, my great-grand parents, probably all if not nearlly all of my ancestors, of predecesors, most in my school, in my street, in my zone, in my work in the future, of my friends, wherever and whenver I go and are, they mayority of people will be religious, thus, believe in god.
Why do you think that at the end of the second world war the countries didn't jsut destroy all of whast was left for germany? dissolve it, and devide it? true, they devide in two, but they could have jsut say this for france, this for england, this for holland, this for rusia, could they? yes. But they didn't because germany was an extreemely poor country, it was a critical state, so they could do nothing but vote to hitler, vote to extremism.
I'm sort of equal state. I know, ok, I have what I need, I can eat. But it is critical, moderate critical. So, it shoudl be accepted that I'm extremist.
But religious people? no, not them. And even less YOU! because you are religious, and form the most expanded one, so you have no reason to be extremist.
And anyway, by my own ethics, which is my guide in life, and believe me, I have considered it in a proper way, but I don't agree that there is any way that religious people should be extremist, it's not justified. I don't say mine is, or hitler was, but just they should be accepted. Now, by YOUR ethics, which is the bible, you should accept my extremism and forgive me, for being atheist, etz....So you have no point there.
Now, see, you say you try not to be extremist, but you are extremist by the single trhing of reducing everything to having faith. I know. I have discussed with you and others, a lot. I know that it's all about faith. But I am philosopher. I want to discuss in a philosophical manner, the religious themes. Philosophy of theology, it's called. Now, philosophy is believed tpo be very liberal and have no order etz, but this is because scientists have made people think this. Philosophy is very strict. Theories are not accepted if they don't pass the analize. They must be rational, and have empirical value. They must not end in relativistic conclusions. They need logic. It's the 3C's: Clarity, Coherence and Credibilidity.
I do like discussing with you, please, do it, I enjoy it.
