Michael, you had a good thought about if we are nothing, than we could not own anything. The self is a construct of convenience, and so too would be ownership. Then the question what what do we really own, so one must also ask what is real? In that we are all one, nothing can be taken from us because we are, and therefore own, everything. In that none of us inherently exists, we are nothing and can own nothing. In the constructs of convenience, we own or do not own as the conventions apply.
You could own nothing, or everything and everyone, or somewhere in between as the conventions of local reality dictate. It is a matter of perspective. |
I agree Elizabeth,it is a paradox in the end,for we own nothing,but have everything as well.
