Michael,
Indiscipline is not one of those limitations, it is the origin in fact of freedom of thought, which is the most important quality of our minds. The problem of it is that we need to balance it with lots of motivation and a prolific attitude towards thinking and create thinking.

lots of motivation aspect.

dear michael your problem is that you 'know'almost everything that is to be 'known' of Reality/spirituality---in theory.a little more sadhna(putting into pactice all that one 'know' of reality).to save time,in case you have not already read Ashtavakra Gita,pl. do it for my sake.it is available on net.try the one translated by Bart Marshall, his translation is very authentic.before we go further in our quesr the l.s. would like to reiterate the fact about meditation:
concentration, contemplation and meditation are three stages of meditation.then the time comes when there is left nothing to meditate upon.in that state,no-thing,even consciousness does not exist--poor mind is left behind much earlier.in meditation if mind persists,pl.try to 'kill' it.try to be in "die-mind" state.not that you donot already 'know' such finer nuances already!with love.ls.

rp bibra, thank you for your very detailed post, you seem to credit me with much, and suggest that I "know" in theory almost everything that is to be known of reality/spirituality,and suggest a little more sadhna(putting into practise all thatone knows of reality)were that the case bibra,I would certainly see the wisdom and merit in that suggestion, however I feel that
you have greatly overestimated my position, which is this;I am aware of one
basic reality as to me,and that is of my ignorance! And that what I "know"
as they say in England would fit on a postage stamp. With room to spare!
My position is that I "know nothing",but can have access to all?I have not
read Ashtavaka gita, but will look up the one you suggested by Bart Marshall.
I do indeed understand what you are saying, with regard "kill the mind"?
Lastly I feel that there may have been a misunderstanding about the word mind, maybe awareness would have been better!
The doorway to wisdom only opens if one knows and accepts one vast amount of ignorance, such is the law of life!

"must" truly accept and honestly acknowledge the depth of ones ignorance,
for wisdom is not fooled by vain conceit,or bloated arrogance, masking as a
false humilty!

dear michael;the ls., has found his answer& is earnestly engaged in his chosen path; he now knows the path as well as the goal.all that is required is the constant 'immersion' in the ocean of bliss; the present state of occasional glimpses is not enough!love.ls.

Thank you Ls,constant immersion in the ocean of bliss must be truly amazing,
you are indeed blessed to be able to remain in it!I have had only momentary
total immersion, and that was mind blowing enough!
This thread however,is about enabling each and everyone of us,to re-cognise
the reality that in encoded and "informed around our consciousness?
When we look at oueselves, accept ourselves, and finally know ourselves, then
it will become apparent, that we are indeed the embodiment of reality!
