Re: What is truth, can we know it?

Truth & Beauty
________________

Life’s hardships can be softened by beauty;
Its weaknesses can be strengthened by truth.
As roses blossom like realizations,
Beauty itself blooms from the well of truth.

When a deep truth is known so intensely
That all of its clothing falls away,
Then one has learned the beauty of truth, for
The reality of meaning is beauty.

Life, although anguishing, must be lived fully;
But if we’re alive enough to feel beauty,
Then we’re exposed to its opposite twin
Yes, Beauty’s other side is Melancholy.

When sadness brooded over the morrow,
I visited the deep well of sorrow.
There enshrined, inseparate, Beauty said,
It’s from me that sadness you borrow.

Art and poetry enrich human experience,
But they’re no substitutes for the living of it.
Like the figures on Keats’ urn, should we live life less?
NO—!because what is deathless is also lifeless!

Soft breezes blow, caressing me and you
As we kiss the roses and drink the dew.
Reason and passion soon merge into one,
As truth and beauty make their rendezvous.

once we understand the truth of our fundamental existence , then we can understand the fundamentals of what truth is.

a starting point would be the truth of the essentials of our existence such as air , water , and food.

since all of these essentials are made of energy/matter long before we could study them. and this is a truth.

we tend , I think , to think in terms of pure thought , rather than thinking about the essentials that are brought together , which allow a whole , in time , the ability to , think.

hence once this is relised , then we can see the billions of truths around us.

Truth and Untruth

Mankind is the only thing in the natural universe that is untrue, everything else is true.

Interesting statement MJA,do you mean that mankind is the only being
or creature that can wilfully go against natural order and law, while other
creatures have not free will, and can defy the law itself(not without incuring
debts though)or do you mean something completely different,if so I would
be interested in your thoughts on this.

regards michael.

Re: What is truth, can we know it?

Hi Michael,

Drying out yet?

To answer your question: man has a great capacity of existing knowledge, much of it is untrue. Besides our untrue knowledge, the rest of nature is true.

To know the truth, we simply must remove the untruth, the uncertainty, the doubt. By this proccess alone, will we, our knowledge, the universe, or the truth of everything become known, crystal clear, and ultimately free.

Truth is nature's freedom.

Have a truthful day,

Wrongly self-interpreted magic empty words cannot remove the untruth, only cover the untruth or beautify some untruths.

Politicians are fluent and eager in using self-interpreted magic empty words!

Heisenberg's Uncertainty Principle applies to everything in the physical world.
And most people agree that there are full of uncertainty in biological world and in humanity.

MJA, it seems that you are the few ones insist on certainty (what is worse, absolute certainty).

Don't you know that to measure with precise certainty will violate the Uncertainty Principle?
(Up to now, no one successfully challenged the Uncertainty Principle yet.)
Why you think that you are an exception? Any proof (except wrongly self-interpreted magic empty words)?

Best Regards (But no regards to politicians with magic empty words). Bottomlander
