As a result of focussed thinking,in the heart,the spiritual eye opens and becomes the directing agent,employed consciously by the seeker.The soul is theheart of the system of thespiritual man,it is the seat of the life and consciousness which animates the personality,and is the motivating potency in every incarnation,according to the experience conditioning the expression of the spiritual man in any particular rebirth.In the early stages of experience, this eye
remains closed.there is present no capacity for thought and no abilty to think in the heart,i,e.from soul levels.As the intellect develops and the power to focus upon the mental plane grows,the fact of thesouls existence becomes known,and
the goal of attention changes.There follows the ability to focus in the soul-consciousness and so fuse the soul and the mind,that an at-one-ment takes place and a man can begin to think <in his heart>Then also the eye of the soul opens, and energy from soul levels,intelligently utilised,becomes directed from those levels and pours into what is now ambiguously called the third eye.Immediately the personality begins to express itself as the soul upon the physical plane,and will ,purpose and love begin to control.

the ls. understands the depths of agony an aspirant feels when his words are taken lightly,while completely disregarding the the trials &turbulation wjhich he/she had gone through! truely the journey of 'thinkers' is lonely.whatever michael speak is not the concoction of theories but the expression of the 'expereiences' he has in the exclusiveness of his self.for the knowledge of the commentators; for some 'shiva' name could be mythical but from meditational poit of view, the centre of focusing is of vital importance.it would be of interest (not academic,but spiritual discipline)they could also experience the same bliss, by going through the same process brother michael undertook! just give it sincere try, none will be disappointed.ls.

Just as the Cyclops of ancient greek legends,had three eyes,one in the centre of the forehead,between the other two,the main difference is of course that while the Cyclops,had three visible eyes,and looked rather scary,
we on the otherhand have only two eyes visible,and look less scary?Well most of us do then!As we look within for our real selves,and practise such
things as yoga,and meditation,we begin to raise our awareness and sensitivity to higher vibrations,thereby opening the portal that leads to the
third eye,the eye of Shiva being opened!We then can learn directly from our
inner monitor the human soul?

FEELINGS ,WHEN YOU LEARN CHILDERN DYING IN TERRORIST ATTACKS,CORRUPTION.AND SUCH THINGS ,YOU WANT TO CHANGE IT,THE SHEER FEELING TO REMOVE ALL BAD IN THE WORLD.WHEN YOU SEE A MOVIE

Thank you krateesh,For your post on this thread,and i understand what you are saying,yes the "idea" I am writing about on this thread is a little different
from the usual mythological concepts,that is because I am also drawing on
my own personal experiences,and my many exchanges with like minded folk.
As you no doubt already know Krateesh,all unfoldment operates under law!
and the natural laws cannot be cheated or hoodwinked into giving us more
than we are mature enough,and right-living and thinking enough,to merit.
However there are some very dangerous practises that put into paper backed
books,which suggest that there is an easy way to open the third eye,these
suggestions are highly dangerous and can lead to insanity and mental illness.
I indeed have been in contact with a few who tried this "shortcut" and some almost died.You cannot speed up yourown evolution by reading a paperback
novel?You have to live it daily,and practise it daily.But byright living,thinking,
and practising harmlessness,in thought,word,and deed,then under the law
of corrospondence,you will naturally make contact with the eye of Shiva!

michael, ls. would like you to explain to us the basic requirements,if any,before an aspirant try meditation!is meditation as simple as 'body-workouts', or it is something deeper,which means more than mere concentration of mind!these queries are of paramount importance,as each dicipline which is testable in the laboratory of human body,has to be undertaken with caustion& after duly observing the laid down norms.ls.
