Seeking God for His Autograph
One who knows the universe can only know the God.

It was once suggested by a discerning reader that the mest theory should be modified as iMest theory as there has to be some 'intelligence' guiding the mest on the path of evolution. The idea, first having a metaphysical slant and then for being capable of blurring the demarcation between pure science and metaphysics couldn’t find favor with me. But while writing my essay – “Origin of Universe, a Mestern Perspective” I found some very indisputable and convincing reasons that universe had its own intelligence which leads it by an ‘engrained law’ on the path of evolution it has been for billions of years. Bereft of such intelligence that we would love to call the ultimate governing law once determined, the universe would have gone on path of self annihilation, without fail. Forces and energies would have cancelled each other out and the universe we see today could turn into a naught in a split second.
Once half convinced of this idea, I started working on it and can say now with reasonable confidence that the universe has primary intelligence needed for survival and evolution. It ought not to be construed that the universe thinks. We need to, here, revisit the generalized meaning of intelligence. In our general perception intelligence is something related to the higher order of living beings. In lower categories of life it is confined to feelings and sensation. The collection and interpretation of data is what we normally take as an act of intelligence. This kind of intelligence existed in the universe and the computer chip is the proof of the pudding. We have been able to condense, store and use that intelligence which was lying dormant and scattered in the universe. This may be called the refined or modified cosmic intelligence.
Coming back to the basic intelligence, we need to first do away with our biased and naturalized perception that to be intelligent, the possessor has to be a living entity. In fact we should look at the intelligent life as a reflection of cosmic intelligence in a much evolved form. As pointed out in my essay-‘The Origin of Life…….’ the senses are the reflective answers of the actions of energy (light and sound waves) on the mass bodies; the cognitive relationship of the two. A beam of light has the intelligence to have three different ways to react while striking with a glass, a mirror and a prism but doesn't have the advance intelligence to avoid striking with the objects if needed. It lacks desire. The energy knows the way to survive and we call that the law of conservation. The law is the cosmic intelligence that is driving force behind the survival and evolution of the universe.
In other words universe is the God unto itself, the god of its own and the god of all that is the part of this universe. Knowing universe is the only way of worshipping God, if you are a believer.
We know Picasso through his paintings. But for his painting what does Picasso mean. What will you do if you happen to meet Picasso and you know nothing about the art of painting? If you have heard his name as a famous painter then you might ask for his autograph to show it your friends and relatives, only to make them feel jealous. Most of us if chanced to meet God will have nothing to say then asking for his autograph.
One who knows the universe can only know the God.
