Problem: "man" is an exclusive term which ignores half the population. How equal is that? (Don't change it though because for equality we have to stop getting offended at situations where no inequality is intended and accept "man" as a generic term.)
Please let it be noted that this is not off topic - the way we use language is an important consideration in logic and mathematics.
