Whats Important? - 12-20-2005, 04:16 AM

Within a universe of constant wonder it became human nature to ask questions and to be intrigued with anything and everything. Humans love to explore new ideas and a simple thought can attract many questions .. sometimes from complete strangers. We seek answers in order to build a knowledge of the environment surrounding us.

If for personal reasons we become unwilling to explore a new idea chances are the idea has its own personally built in conflicts with hidden messages.

If you are reading this "you are important"

Never again in the history of the universe will there be another you. This is your chance to develop your potential and leave behind your physical mark of existence because the universe as I say will never see another you.

This is your only chance to participate in the development of evolution to its fullest potential.

Each individual is capable of fulfilling the developing the self Make your life count.

You are one person. Although the exact age of the universe is undetermined .... throughout time and space you have evolved ... history puts that at some 13 billion years its taken you to be at this point in time.

There is only one of you - thats rather important - dont you think?

The fundamental method of philosophy is the use of reasoning to evaluate arguments concerning these questions ..

We create our personalities during our life, and liek that, we create thought, and like that, we create a world. This world is how we view the world. It is correct for itself, but not for the other worlds. Is it important then? It's like asking if the glass of water is half full or half empty.

Your post made me bold enough to ask a stupid question. We can make anti-particles and anti-hydrogen in accelerators. Will there come a day when we make anti-carbon or some other life altering anti-substance? It is corrupt to me to think this way. Anti-carbon would be dangerous and deadly to handle. We have already gone from anti-particles to anti-atoms. How far can this go? And by the way, the glass is half-full.

I believe--and many scientists also--that we can go as far with antimatter than matter, for there is no special property that one has over the other, just oppoiste electric charge. We could go on to creating anti-worlds, with anti-humans, anti-animals... And the most strange thing, anti-intelligence /(that would be very odd, for our brain works with electric charges, their's would work with oppoiste charges.

So much for unity with anti-intelligence! That is strange and fascinating. Is there such a thing as an anti-dream or anti-dream state?

wow... You see, this is going from the physical world to the mind. Would they have the same minds as us, if they had the same exact physico-biological properties? Probably yes. Would they be anti-minds? How could a mind be charged? Maybe we have to develop the idea of mind charge. Maybe they think backwards: from conclusion to fundamental start. Maybe the have first the TOE, and then go discovering backwards everything, GR, QM, even more backwards: electromagnetism, the telephone, back, way back: volta's battery... It may seem it's easier backwrds, but no: they have to cover the whole way as us, just with the background which is the end. Not that easy...

What is harder, to be in the middle of the laberinth and find the way out, or to be in the door, and trying to find the centre point?

That is an excellent analogy. I don't think we started out in a labyrinth. I think the disorder and complexity of the universe grew up under our feet. If we wait, it will only grow increasingly complex, don't you think?
