Unique thoughts-Had any at all?

Maybe that's why you just keep wishing and saying about consciousness floating around.

A different tack could be to take some apparently unrelated known items and connect them together. That's what I try to do.

Thank you austin for your most refreshing advice,you are most generous and talented,however,(and there is always a however in there somewhere) I see it rather differently from you thats what makes us unique perhaps? Rather than consciousness just "floating" around we are it in more ways than you can ever imagine.Energy is what we are,living intelligent energy which also so happens to be known as consciousness/energy they are the same thing.
As for the last thing you mentioned austin about taking some apparently unrelated "known"?? items and connecting them together,well I have news for you,they are all ready connected for all "things" are made of exactly the THNG,there are no things austin,just thing thats all,and that thing is energy,living without a brain intelligent energy.

The echo of the ego sounds rather "tinny" at times,I am different,I am special it seems to say,your thoughts are important,and furthermore are unique you know? I hear myself replying to this inner voice,"is that so" or do I really just wish that they were and the ego is jumping in and confirming it? When I attempt to think these thoughts through it reveals to me that all I say and no doubt all I think has been said and thought about millions of times before,thereby not unique at all.

The ego can be likened to a "child within" one thats enjoys pats on the back,assurance that its different and special you know! In meditation at times over the years I have tried to imagine a unique idea and set of awarenesses that would clearly show that I am indeed unique you know? I have to report that up to now I have failed to do so! Who knows though maybe tomorrow some idea my rise up within me and fit the bill-please be quiet mr ego,rest now you have had a busy day!

I look out into the starry heavens and see millions of stars each perhaps with its own planetary system and wonder,what if all these stars,galaxies,are all just atoms within the mind of the absolute,just atoms within an infinite body,what then are we,sub atomic particles? Then I ask myself is this a unique idea or thought,hell no,its been thought of before many times.Oh well back to the thinking board.
