One of the saddest things I discovered some years ago was that you can spend your entire lifetime, and even if you live to be 100 years old,you will
never have even one unique thought pass through your brain?I then spent
many fruitless hours trying in vain to think of something unique to say or
even write about, but always failed.I have even tried to think up a unique
thread to start up here on the toequest forum, butagain have failed,so far?
So anybody out there in cyberspace got a unique idea to share with us?
I await you response with bated breath!

Even though it is unlikely that we will ever think a unique thought we can still have a unique experience of that thought. Although, that raises another thought. How could anyone ever know that they had a unique experience of a thought. Unless you've been in another's body thinking that person's thoughts you can not be sure that the other person's experience of the thought is any different from your own experience of it. I've been thinking more and more that our internal experience of things, including thoughts, is the same at some level. Perhaps our reaction to the already-thought thought is what is unique because that depends on our ... that was funny, my wife just interrupted me and I had to go talk to her, which leads me to another thought and it is this --> is an complete thought the same as an interrupted thought when its the same thought ... unique background (education, race, religion, family, friends, geographic location).
I think I had more to say but just can't remember now. "I'm going on a TOE Quest!"

What makes you think that not a single one of your thoughts are not unique? It seems likely that many of your thoughts are unique. Especially as they relate to your immediate perception of your environment- you have a unique history, and a unique position in the space/time/matter organization. Therefore, many of your thoughts will be unique.
Now if you move towards abstractions, such as "What a nice color green", then others will have thought the same abstraction about other green objects. But your own perception of the specific, it is unique, and your own apprehension of that specific, also is unique.
Even towards abstractions, I see some new ideas even here I have never seen elsewhere. But also, I think there are many good ideas from the ancients which have yet to be fully explored (at least the greeks).
I will attempt a few unique abstractions for you:
Culture is a form of sunscreen which blocks the most novel ideas from penetrating into the collective consciousness, until a light so bright and popular can burn the idea through to create a new perception of reality.
Your own thoughts are your best and worst friends. They can lead you to places no one has gone before, but also keep you in places where you can not escape.

Thoughts and feelings.
Sometimes, I get sparks of fleeting knowledge, only to have them slip away to where they came from. Those sparks are eerie in their presence and they appear and disappear like pulses of the energy within an absolute vacuum. Quantum moments gather and collect to form the instinct I have come to recognize, that we are alone as intelligence sentient beings and that our knowledge is an evolutionary abnormality, devoid of purpose and reason. We are within one matrix of reality, awake and looking into an abyss of uncaring nature, evolution, survival for the sake of survival.
Sometimes I think I can see what is behind the picture in front of me, sometimes I think I can hear thoughts that are not mine, sometimes, I see between the atoms, the empty space that is all there is, and sometimes I think I see piles of information gathering dust. Sometimes I wonder if I had gotten mad.
Are these thoughts unique? Perhaps or perhaps not, all I know is that they are distinctly mine. I am my brain, the universe twisting in grotesque shapes trying to understand itself. "Any society that would give up a little liberty to gain a little security will deserve neither and lose both"

No there is nothing. How can be unique in universe of continuity. Uniqueness smacks of singularity and that exists only in black hole. We live and think in continuum

Thanks gautam,The uniqueness that I was really referring to was of "idea"
An original concept, not about singularity, but about original ideation.

What man mistakes for thinking is but an electric awareness of things sensed and recorded within the brain cells for repetitive usage through memories.
Impressions received through the 5 senses are recorded within the brain cells for repetitive usage through memories.
This means that until we rise above body consciousness we are in a closed trap or box and we cannot think outside the box because our thought being impressions from the box is imprisoning our consciousness in the box.
We must separate our consciousness from thought - as impressions from the box - in order to have a thought that is unique i.e. separate from the box.
By the way the ether in the pupil of the eye is the source of our consciousness and the dark matter in the eye and in space is that ether.

Creative intelligence which is the hallmark of the soul, lies within us,sometimes dormant
for centuries,a hidden gem, awaiting discovery by our inner focus. If and when we can tap
into this infinite storehouse of knowledge, and wisdom,we will also I feel, have access to
a different and prehaps "unique" perspective of reality.

Unique thoughts are the thoughts of the universal mind - by stopping our individual thoughts we stop the individual mind - and when the individual mind is stopped by stopping thought - we access the universal mind and its thoughts.
How do we do this ? By putting our attention fully in the eye-focus and holding our concentration fully there - we stop thought - it is the concentration per se that stops thought - as long as we hold our attention fully concentrated in the eye-focus - we stop thought - it is the act of concentrated looking per se that stops thought.
Human thoughts are at the frequencies of the brain waves and when we stop identifying with those brain waves at the frequencies of matter - we rise above matter i.e. the body and experience consciousness at higher frequencies - and experience unique thoughts as a consequence.
Nature abhors a vacuum and if we hold our concentration in the focus we will either lose our concentration and go out in and become our thought or we will rise up above body consciousness and experience and merge in the Light of Truth and access unique thoughts.
We can go into more specific detail of the method if requested.
