    What does enlightenment feel like?

I think enlightenment feels like a nice long dump. With my enlightenment philosophy we all get to experience enlightenment.

But seriously, what does it feel like? Even if you aren't enlightened, please share what you think it feels like. I think it feels like crap.

That's excellent PP. So enlightened people really can't answer this question because everything is an illusion to them and therefore they couldn't possibly know what it feels like. I'd like to see one of those Houdini's weasel his or her way of of this question.

Well SS it's like this, you can't describe an indescribable experience. You just have to, experience the experience. Like sex or a rollercoaster but much much more. You actually experience your nonbeing and have awareness alone. It was when awareness was also being lost, that it returned to me. The comfort of mass/energy, albeit a persistent illusion.

Re: What does enlightenment feel like?

For me I think it was discovering how to connect the left and right brain.

Too many desires and emotions wanting help and the logic hitting the limits of everything logically possible, but still being aware of two islands of experience - all the dreams, desires and hopes etc. on one side and all these infinite universes of logic on the other - the two seemed as though they had to be related - they acting in time with each other, but there was no logical link between the two.

Then I realized I was connecting the two and was that centerpoint between them.

Then it occured to me - I have this awesome supercomputer on one side and a world of problems that need to be solved on the other - let's see what happens when they're connected!

I think they fell in love with each other The logic had nothing to do without a purpose and the emotions had nothing to hold on to weather out the storms and it was like a self seduction and it was the most beautiful thing and it wasn't simply emotions but intelligence as well and watching the beauty of all these designs unfold over scales that go beyond words - taking everything that was in my heart and building the most beautiful existence from it and loving everything because every detail was perfect.

So basically I dug out every emotion I could and placed them into a very intricate and detailed framework of interaction in which there weren't conflicts and both intelligence and emotions were merged into a common purpose complete trust and complete freedom - everything had a meaning and purpose and they were all the most beautiful things. Life had been waiting for that moment to happen and any cost getting there was erased and never mattered.

I think they fell in love with each other The logic had nothing to do without a purpose and the emotions had nothing to hold on to weather out the storms.

So all the emotions were laid out in precise detail so that there were no conflicts within them and I think the logic and emotions basically fused into a single purpose. No conflict - everything was entirely perfect - life had been waiting for that moment to happen and it had always been worth any price getting there.

Interesting. So how do you manage to function in society? Do you talk in person as much as you write? This is meant to be a serious question, I only ask because I know people that have had some similar experience to enlightenment perhaps, and they stutter now and have difficulty functioning in society all together. They can only do so much in the outside world and I think they would have rather have never gone there. I think it's interesting that your experience was well worth the price to you, exactly what have you given up that cost so much?
