HOW SPECIAL RELATIVITY WORKS

This article reveals the mechanism of Special Relativity. To do this in a very short article I am going to start with some models that were more rigorously derived in the original development of the theory. You can get more information by following the link at the end of this article.

The Basic Foundational Model

* There is an Aether. It consists of an all pervasive 'atmosphere' of prime particles called Zerons
* Zerons are all identical, and are totally elastic, frictionless, have inertial mass but zero gravitational mass, and come in two varieties, fast and slow.
* Fast Zerons travel at a velocity of root 2 x c and inter-collide to form a type of Aether which we have named the Cosma. The Cosma is a resonant 'Perfect Fluid'.
* Matter consists of resonating agglomerations of Slow Zerons held together by pressure from the Cosma.
* Matter resonates at a frequency different to that of the Cosma.
* The Zeron constitutes an unimaginably small class of matter and can be shown to have a mass of 7.39 x10p-46 gms compared to an electron mass of 9.11 x 10p-28 gms. There are therefore 1.33 x 10p18 Zerons in an electron!

The Basic Foundational Atom

Consider the hydrogen atom. The Proton nucleus consists of an agglomeration of resonating slow Zerons within the resonant Cosma. The interaction between two resonant entities produces a standing wave structure, a denser region in the Cosma in the form of a spherical shell of Zerons. This is the electron shell.
Light emanates from the atom after it is first excited so that the electron shell jumps to the next permissible radius and then collapses to emit an outwardly expanding sphere of light manifested as a series of Zeron impact waves travelling through the Cosma at a velocity c in every direction.
If we now accelerate the atom through the Cosma, the Zeron pressure at the front of the nucleus becomes greater than at the back. This distorts both the nucleus and the electron shell. As soon as the acceleration stops a steady state returns and the atom retains its distorted shape.

A New Relativity.

We now position ourselves on the nucleus of the distorted hydrogen atom. Looking forward we see a foreshortened nucleus-to-electron shell distance and looking backwards we find an after-lengthening. Now we have to sacrilegiously amend Einstein's foreshortening equation by multiplying it by Cos Phi to take into account this direction of observation. Phi is the angle between the direction of motion and the direction of observation. We find that in addition to foreshortening there is an after-lengthening of both bodies and the atoms that it comprises.

When the distorted atom is excited and then de-excited, the electron shell collapses in the same period of time front and back but because the front distance of collapse is less than normal, light emits at (here follows heresy) a velocity less than c! At the back of the atom there is an even greater heresy, because light emits at a velocity greater than c! All is not lost however because if you add the velocity of the atom through the Aether to the forward moving sub-c light wave, and deduct it from the supra-c back one, light travels both forwards and backwards at velocity c. This applies equally in all directions.

Now we are equipped to re-examine Einstein's famous 'train' experiment, the basis of Special Relativity. A rail car travels along an embankment at velocity v. Observer M sits in the middle of the car and observer M' is on the embankment. At the instant that the two observers are level, lightning strikes both ends of the railcar simultaneously. Observer M' being stationary relative to the embankment sees the lightning strikes as being simultaneous. However because M is moving towards the strike at the front of the car, he should see the front strike first. Now Einstein knew that M also sees both strikes simultaneously and the only way out of the dilemma was to declare time to be a fourth (variable) dimension within its own frame of reference. In doing so he bamboozled the world and has done so ever since. There is a much easier solution.

Now that we know about the missing term Cos Phi and the resulting shape of the distorted atom, three dimensions will be adequate. The excited atoms at the front of the train re-emit the light towards M, but because of the after-lengthening the light leaves the atom at a velocity c+v. Deduct the velocity of the car and we land up with c. At the back end light emits from the atom at velocity c-v. Add v and we get c. In other words distortion of the atom exactly compensates for movement through the Cosma and both observers see the flash simultaneously. Simple isn't it? That's how Relativity works, no variable time and no fourth dimension!

I hope I have not trodden on too many TOEs! Critique of what is presented here is always welcome.

Thanks Michael,
In such a concise article I had to leave much unsaid, but that should make for some interesting communications. I really look forward to plugging some of the holes.

Cheers,

Ted

I'm seeing no critique of this ''out there'' article. Does that mean that I'm right or daft?
Regards to all,
