In relativity, the (weak) equivalence principle states that there can never be an experiment designed that can detect a difference between inertial mass and gravitational mass.

(Sorry for the reply nearly a year on, but I've been cleaning out the now closed "ask a question" forum, and stumbled upon this thread.
