I'll be upgrading and customizing the Toe Link Manager this coming week. I've neglected this part of the website for a while and I think it's time for a face lift. I'll probably upload the new product sometime tomorrow so you better go look at it now if you want to see the before picture. After I link in the new product I'll need to do some work customizing it so it is integreted with the website better. Expect to see changes throughout the week.

All the links have been ported over to the new product without problems. I'll also be going through some of the forum postings & member accounts to add your links & homepages to the link manager where appropriate. I'll update this thread with my progress.

Spent a couple of hours on this today and get the ToeQuest header integrated with it and converted the fixed width pages to a more liquid design. This one's starting to look pretty darn good. I need to run some more tests on it tomorrow and verify the configuration and permission stuff then I'll upload it tomorrow. The font sizes and colors are hard to see and use, but I'll get those fixed as the week progresses.

Ok, the bad news first. I finally gave up on the old link manager. It wasn't integrating as nicely with the rest of the web site as I had hoped. The new revision of the software seemed to have a lot of additional stuff that I didn't really need and it was difficult to work around.

Now for the good news. I researched and purchased a new product that does give me close to what I want. I'm able to customize it to give me exactly what I want for the website. In fact, I've installed the product today and I've been configuring and customizing it for the past eight hours. It's really looking good now. I'm hoping to link it into the ToeQuest site before the day is over.

Finally got the new TOE Link Manager customized and enabled. I've got some of our member's links submitted, and will submit more later on. If you own, or know of any quality websites related to the Theory of Everything, please submit them to the Link Manager to make them easy to find for all. If you have any ideas to improve the link manager you can request them here and I'll either modify the code myself or make a request to the vendor. Hope you like it!

Next... Updating the chat room again. I'll start on that tomorrow and expect it will last into the weekend.

Remember to check the calendar for website updates, chat room meetings, etc. I'm trying to keep it more up to date. Also, I moved all the birthdays off to a non-default calendar to keep it less cluttered.
