Does the statement..."curled up within our own" mean a parallel universe????
Mikal
There are no others
Separated by the void
Parallel to us
Curled up within our own
Somewhere else (please explain)
Does the statement..."curled up within our own" mean a parallel universe????
Mikal
Hi Neutralino;
Nor would they be mutually exclusive.
Best,
Pat
There are other universes, but they are not parallel to our universe or curled up inside it. Universes are sort of like planets, which revolve and rotate through a greater 4-space. The 4-space through which they revolve and rotate is not a void, but a vast 4-space filled with light (which I will reluctantly refer to as a ether).
Naturally, universes are not exactly like planets. They are, of course, unimaginably larger than any planet. Furthermore, while planets are only exposed to 3-space at points located along their external surfaces, universes are exposed to 4-space (and the light through which they pass) at every point. For details see the thread on Resting Light Theory.
Maybe a lot of the other universes didn't amount to anything, and perhaps a few did; but we know that one did and so that looking back we can see a lot of lucky turns, although, of course, it still progressed slower than a snail walking behind old people in Florida, bearing all the hallmarks of a mindlessness and brainlessness (to be redundant).
If not for some asteroids, we might not have even been here yet [or never].

Einstein relativity, yes. Have existed, are existing or will exist ... is not the question but where perhaps ... put to the theoretical "consideration" or ponder. Then there is "how" as proof to where when someone finally takes the step past theorem to say behold! The wonders of the universe! . ... or are we stuck in theorem? Yes I like the quest here, Ty ... kind regards graham
Hi Profpat an all.
I have been given to ponder the universe first as a singularity. Thus said in the nature of it state. The state of the universe in such being that can give the consideration there is just one. This is not to say the universe does not give the impression pictorial from many events taking place that there must be more then just one ... but the thought is there be just one.
Now in consideration that indeed the great clumping to a further expand is by all proof a gradient event here and not there sort of ponder a different conclusion has to be considered:
.."at any one given moment of varied view such then would be potential that there must be other universe being."
In further explanation the view is coming from noticeable event that at varied place and time we see both in the big and the small collapse, condense effect, clumping, taking place at the same time as expand.
~Kind regards g.
Whatever gave rise to our universe could just as easily give rise to another universe. Where? Far away, since nothing new around here.
