Solitude has a bad reputation.
We tend to think of it as a lonely state.
Nothing can be further from the truth.
We need the rich soil of solitude to grow into ourselves.
Turn off your phone and TV and just let yourself be in stillness.
Gradually, as you befriend solitude, rather than flee from it,
you will begin to hear the voice of your Own Authentic Self
S/he is The GOoD One. The Silent Gentle One.
The Eternal One.
Namaste

Welcome back. How was your vacation with the Gods?
Before I was born, maybe, if we are organic, my atoms were parts of other things, such as plant life which formed of air, water, mud, and nutrients.
Hope you don't mind if I respond with an excerpt from my webpage...
You probably consider yourself to be a single being, which is why you call yourself 'I' instead of 'we'. Your body; however, is a plurality - a composite of billions of individual elements or fundamental particles, each with its own set of properties. Each basic particle pre-existed your birth and will ultimately survive your demise. Each has its own unique history, a separate location and physical domain. Indeed, if the axiom of identity is valid, then one existence will always have a single set of experiences and a collection of existences will always have individual sets of experience equal to the number of elements in the set. Logically this presents a conundrum. How can you be a single existence if that physical manifestation which you consider to be 'yourself' is composed of multiple existences?
In order to reconcile this disparity, scholarly pundits with alphabet soup after their names profess that if you toss just the right combination of terrestrial ingredients into a primordial cauldron and stir it really, really hard for a very long time, you can produce a composite that thinks, propagates and experiences a unique existence as a single identity. That may sound silly (I call it the Pinocchio hypothesis) but which lowly layman in his right mind would dare contradict an entire horde of scholarly pundits, especially when they are immersed in alphabet soup. So, with an eye of newt and wing of bat, a pinch of this and a dash of that the pundits dub this egregious departure from logic the 'phenomenon of emergent properties' and they credit it with the creation of all life on Earth. Regrettably, they seem unable to fully explain the mechanics of this miraculous process that transforms 8x10^27 atoms into a single existence with an individual identity.
Hogwarts! If this is science, then Harry Potter is the next Isaac Newton.
The hierarchies of complex systems which arise from a multitude of relatively simple interactions - emergent properties - are not the properties or qualities of an existence. They are not qualities at all; they are collective behaviors that occur within a group of elements under given conditions. Composites occur when multiple individual existences are brought into proximity to one another. If you believe you are the corporal product of emergent properties then you are claiming you are an occurrence, not an existence. I have a major problem with that reasoning.
So what does this mean?
To quote Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's famous character Sherlock Holmes in Chapter 6 of 'The Sign of Four',"…when you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth."
Falling in love for the very first time for me, was when my 'i' disappeared.
When i was completely and absolutely emptied,
it wasn't until then, that 'i' was able to feel a surprising state of fullness filling me up.
Such a surprising strange feeling of intense joy, so much so that 'i' couldn't contain it all, it engulfed me beyond comprehension.
This JOY revealed itself to me, as 'i' let go of everything 'i' thought 'i' was
it was then that 'i' knew 'i' wasn't.
All that remained was pure Real Love.. it's here with me nowhere everywhere and always. It's a ''CONSTANT''
Physical love doesn't even come close to this love.
I really did fall in love for the very first time.
Sometimes 'i' forget who 'i' am and 'i' fall out of love,
fortunately very soon after this disconnection 'i' re-member.
Falling out, is only ever a temporary loss of inattention ... that state always reverts back to the natural state, that of attention.
Paying attention is the only way we see eternity.
All 'i' have to do is re-member THAT
It's that easy and simple.
Everyone of us can know this true love, it's not a secret nor it it hidden from us.
Once realized, it is the peace that passes all understanding.
It's overwhelmingly powerful, actually.
Namaste love.

We are Life and Life is Alive, and that is all you/we will EVER KNOW… LIFE
DEATH IS LIKE SLEEP Death is sleep.
Do you fear when your children "sleep" at night?
You know that they are safe in sleep.
Even in sleep we have a slight awareness of life, especially when we are dreaming or falling in and out of sleep,
but in death there is no consciousness nor sub-consciousness,
and so you will never know that you are sleeping.
Once God creates consciousness in a human they will NEVER EVER know anything BUT CONSCIOUSNESS.
From my perspective and from your perspective we will never "know" ANYTHING but LIFE and feelings and emotions and consciousness.
From our perspective we will never "know" what it is like to be dead.
So ask yourself ' what is it that dies' ?
((( HUGS TO LIFE AND LOVE ....THAT'S ALL WE'VE EVER KNOWN )))
And if you are not knowing it, you have only forgotten it, in your apparent feeling of separation, that's all.
And that my friends is worth celebrating.

geez..I wish I could put my thoughts into words as well as you..
True, Thor, the origin of the universe was indeed an occurrence, leading to some agglomerations of 'being's and the supposed 'Beings' too, that is, Origin, not Creation with intent. All are just things—neutral things neither good nor bad, neither holy nor unholy. 30-5- million species of happenings, none of any special nature, just some stuff evolving as slow as molasses.
Before I was born, maybe, if we are organic, my atoms were parts of other things, such as plant life which formed of air, water, mud, and nutrients.
We are more than just matter, Austin. What about the lighter part of who you are. Our conscious selves come her to put on clothes, then we take them off again. Its not hard to imagine. We do this every day her on earth. Then why not at birth (on the one hand) and at death (on the other)?
Atoms are not what make up the Austin I know. I've never seen you before in my life. Yet I suspect you are real. It is not your matter that I'm interacting with right now...it is the light that enlivens that matter.
The light of a proton enlivens matter, indeed, when the photon produces an electron and a positron pair (Or whatever), then, if the pair annihilates it produces a photon again, so light is always key. Resting Light Theory is not refutable, nor Rascal's 4th dimension being spacial expansion, nor some others, and so they are all good leads that are carefully thought out.
It would be a leap though, to think of consciousness being a source or that a source is of a Heavenly Realm. I can agree with the RLT geometry and the others' geometries, but I see them as neutral origins in regard to spirits (or Spirit) governing them, for this would not be as end as is often thought (case closed), but rather answering a question with a larger QUESTION.
The regress of things from things and beings from things and Beings from things is probably of the origin of non things such as a deeper 'physics' of the possibility of things and then beings.
