We shall go, you in your way and I in mine...
I shall love you and your way and you shall love me and mine...
We shall be strong this way...
For no man seeing our separateness shall break our TOGETHERNESS...

The NDE is a teacher...it is an individual experience for each person. There is lots of confusion about spirit/soul....I can only tell you that when I felt myself living my life I knew I had a soul...I knew I was spiritual in nature...That told me the world is full of lies...now I question everything!!!!
We all have spirit, consciousness, mind, heart (emotion), soul, memory, self, associations, learning, drives, vision, imagination, reasoning, feelings—they are all in the brain.
The brain is a fabulous organ; you use it all the time for EVERYTHING…
How little trust you have of what is already there that you make faith up in what is not there (and invisible) to do the same exact job already done by the brain…
Discoveries are pouring in lately, of how the brain does what you swore [for some very odd reason] it could never do…
It was once thought that evil spirits caused mental and physical ills…
Now, we are learning, through brain mapping, how fear and all kinds of things work…
See latest Scientific American or Newsweek of two weeks ago or anyplace really…
The days of presumed magic are already ending.

It uses you.

I agree with your overall principle.
But this is simply word play, austin.
Faith is simply trusting the brain.
Faith is just being there is no separate 'self' to make things up, except in the dream of separation.
There is just ''Self'' being all.
Faith is simply letting go of the assumed 'i' and allowing life to flow through you as you.
To Be rather than Do
Doing is done, No doer thereof.
The magic appears as many surprises,
manifesting effortlessly when there is total trust in life's natural unfolding.
We are saying the same things austin, just differently.
I was not aware of the moment when
I first crossed the threshold of this life.
What was the power that made me
open out into this vast mystery
like a bud in the forest at midnight!
When in the morning I looked upon
the light I felt in a moment that I was
no stranger in this world
that the inscrutable without name and form
had taken me in its arms
in the form of my own mother
Even so, in death the same unknown
will appear as ever known to me
And because I love this life
I know I shall love death as well
The child cries out when from the right breast
the mother takes it away
in the same moment to find in the left one
its consolation
The Gnostics stated..."Between the breathing in and out lies all the mysteries of life." Possibly this is why so much knowledge and wisdom is attained throughout an NDE...

The mystery imho is, Death. Therefore the teachings of The Resurrection body.

My young nephew Mike taught me the most about my emotions....when in pain...they are as deep if not deeper than love itself....he taught me you can bleed pain!!!!!!!

Our body is wounded by physical harm.
Our souls cry out in torment from emotions of crushing grief and unfathomable disbelief.
Love is the spiritual medicine that cures our woes in its eternal embrace.
Such is the love of humankind and fellowman.
Spirit looks on, in Deatchment.
Like two golden birds perched in the self-same Tree,
The Ego and the True Self, intimate friends and inseperable.
The formerpartakes of the sweet and the bitter fruits
Of "The Tree of Life", while the latter looks on
In Deatchment. ~The Mundaka Upanishad

A Dream Within A Dream
Take this kiss upon the brow!
And, in parting from you now,
Thus much let me avow-
You are not wrong, who deem
That my days have been a dream;
Yet if hope has flown away
In a night, or in a day,
In a vision, or in none,
Is it therefore the less gone?
All that we see or seem
Is but a dream within a dream.
I stand amid the roar
Of a surf-tormented shore,
And I hold within my hand
Grains of the golden sand-
How few! yet how they creep
Through my fingers to the deep,
While I weep- while I weep!
O God! can I not grasp
Them with a tighter clasp?
O God! can I not save
One from the pitiless wave?
Is all that we see or seem
But a dream within a dream?
The hypothesis of an invisible God as the Supreme Deity is unnecessary. In order to explain the existence of the universe, the invisible God is invoked.
Now, we have merely extended the chain of causality from explaining the universe to explaining the existence of God. Not only do we have another entity to explain, we have to explain how the new entity God has any relevance to the creation of the universe. God, therefore, explains nothing. (from reading Huck)

Christians believe that if Jesus Christ had wished to come down from the cross he could have done so easily; he died of his own free-will becuase it was witten that he should, in order that the prophesies might be fulfilled.

Hi Austie....I know you do not understand the experiences I have had throughout my life but I would ask you to respect the fact that it has been my experience and the truth which holds up my life. I know you think that the brain is and does everything but I have never been able to align with the idea that I am just my brain...I feel that I have alot more substance to that which I see as myself than just a bunch of neurons running around in my head. I also believe that Science does not have all the answers to life and more than likely will never....just as there is a mystery in the Atom..I think there is a mystery in life itself...
