| Re: What happens after you die? Heaven stared me in the face where I least expected. Where? It is right here in front the collective nose. There seem to be too many signs for this not to be the case and too familiar the criteria by which to judge. If it looks like a duck… Heaven is then this spacetime in which we are talking to each other. Some reasons follow. Nobody wants to leave here no matter how miserable.(It can only mean that somewhere else is less attractive – to say the least.) You have to be sponsored by at least two people and you must wear a kind of uniform at all times. (This makes it look like a club.) Everything obeys the law at all times. (These are physical laws with just a dash of chaos thrown in for variety.) It has a duration in Time which makes the whole journey possible. Time is your bride here (or bridegroom) And now the criterion for judgement… While it is unreal, your passport is the self (ego, identity) which lets you enjoy the place. when they hang somebody (for example) YOU don’t feel a thing! While someone else starves YOU can eat all you want. This feature covers a wide variety of goodies. Incidentally the one who starves doesn’t want to leave either. Surprise! The possibility of an ego structure, its continuous release and recrystallization (similarly to breathing) is one of the chief criteria why this "timespace" alloted for the individual is so precious. We can create mischievous gods for ourselves and reproduce! Need I say more? | | | | The Observer

A mother stays only until her children are willing to say goodbye. It would appear that you have not felt the pain of living.
