Re: What happens after you die? - 02-13-2008, 05:26 AM

"Then where does the consciousness originate from?"

Was the question.

Where does life "originate" from - a little easier to deal with otherwise equivalent I think. I would not use "originate" or cause and effect either.
Ostensibly life is rocks beginning to move about, get more complex and what we consider already "alive" continue this phenomenon. Consciousness is probably another such "emergence" and what comes "after" consciousness too.
The whole issue is broader than the language we use when we try to pin this processes on something more primitive than they actually must amount to.

An experience by a person is an absolute. The communication of same only results in hearsay evidence by those that have even bothered to listen. The most attentive and sincere people can still only be given a collection of sounds, or images that represent sounds that are meant to retrieve memories of the concept that is specific to the sound, a word. These words can only retrieve from your memory things that you remember that might if we are very lucky somewhat coincide with what I had in mind when I made the sounds or indicated the images that represent the sounds. It truly is a wonder that any communication takes place at all. However it does take place as we all know. But is this just an excuse for the ability to transmit our thoughts from one to another. Is there more to the communication of words than we know. If this is true then someplace in you, you all ready know of the experiences that I would love to share. But to share an experience by words is not possible, for an experience is absolute and the communication of same is nothing but a collection of words.

I also have thrown away my clock and also a good part of the calendar as well. I just save reference to a few birthdays of family and friends.

The degree of consciousness is the result of a continuing growth within life. In life there is a spirit of life that is a single dimensional existence that exists in time. In this existence medium there is room for more than one single strand of time. Each life has its own single strand of time. The interaction between these life forms is relative from the clock of each to the clock of the other. As each life form experiences the point of creation/now the time that was experienced becomes as a single strand of space that is formatted by the experiences in time. This is the recording of creation. About wanting to find this information. We each have our own cross to bear as a result of the learning process. Still we can not ignore the reason that we bear this cross, because the cross itself is unsightly. WE each will face what we have to face in order to become what we must. This effort is so great that I can not conceive that it is without good cause. We no doubt will do what we must.

About the opinions you find here at this place. You are quite right there is much thought and reasoning that is at the basis of the many beliefs that you find on this site. They are called opinion because they are the results of personal thoughts and reasoning. It seems that it is the persona that live the life of considerable thought and rational reasoning that find their way to this site as they are the ones that are attracted to finding the truth about this place in which we live.

I am sure that we will have much to talk about
John.
TY again John

I am going to ponder this you say carefully...I was on the road all day and its quite late here but I will give a better reply...one once told me that half the world if you say a noun will see the word eg. t-r-e-e but the other half will see a tree in minds eye...what they have in a preconceived way in memory, a "picture" ...I have a forte in algorithms discovered in the seventies Calif. way...B-3500's IBM 360-370 MARK IV and all those old system languages...by 74 I was 5 years in advance then any thing up here in Canada and when I did go in to some centers in the early 80s they took on more new grads although I could have done the job as they had just caught up to the structured programing and data management concepts and I left the industry.. AI (lol)(sorry) a real real interest to me, its amazing for me to meet you,... even back then... it was an interest... I applied my logistical solutions to a contracting business, commercially painting super stores which i am getting out of, ...i do treasure hunts in News Papers where I supply drawn collections of cartoon clues people try to figure out to find the hidden monetary prize and i am paid for only the printed till found (so I do make the contest last as long as possible lol) and i have my hand and mind in geo crystal stuff as well lightly put.... I am proud to say I have in the past moved by communication of the written sort and spoken word, +thirteen varied Governments to act in matters of the humanities to better a suffering class... i like to move mountains sometimes, ...its fun!.... talents in being able to focus were by great travails...the cross? yes I think so...I have to much agree..
The interactions between the persona time factor of your reply put me to memory retrieval mode where the hundreds of times i have been in the right place... no the place where i had to be... by who i am and who the other was subscribes me as well to the must be good cause statement and there was good cause... some do worry me ... for any that tells that they they have a hard time seeing purpose in life to me.... i tell them...please try finding some lesser then you and give them something to make them feel or live better.... even if its the coat off your back in the rain.... you will realize life so much ...greater...just try it ... happiness is contagious!

I have used the power of voice .... sometimes in the audacity of emittance by others my mirror is turned toward them and they self destruct eaten by the worms sort of thing and only after did i know it was I ...so I worry of this effect i have being.. still... human ... great responsibility comes with this I ascertain and carefully like to think i bend each blade of grass carefully now as i perceive this infinite under my tread ....

Hmmmm i am in a mode here tired or not .... I also like to ponder in Mechanical Science, using not logic i posed a question through my late father M&D SeaTac Eng's to why a more simple elec motor design might not work as i presented it, i was putting together a better hovercraft idea... (dad was a Chem Eng designing coatings ... all of them i believe including the re entry tiles ... it is a group affair, team effort) and he had a varied group look at my drawings and none could not see why it would not work ... maybe one day i will give it to the world or parts of it that really need it right now.. moneys not a big deal to me ... well i do have only a ME system right now lol ... but with the blades of grass being looked at so much i may not get to that point ... yea i am here to find answer TY and see this in most here too so far except that gentlemans girlfriend using the site ... hmmm

those are some of my interests
and i have not stopped yet!
glad to meet you sir..

I think I covered this earlier but in case I didn't, here it is.

To die is to forget one's life
and in an instant to return as a baby

But a baby what?

That is the question

I fear we are not intrinsically human

nor attached to this single instance of reality

comments?

Hi John again
OH OH I forgot to ask have you ever tried writing in PIE yet? OH the years that goes back ... it will take someone with empathy for sure. The human emotion expression ability of the persona has never changed for just as long I am sure in total subscription. I have actually made myself understood in so many foreign languages on a verbal level near instantaneous and it had to be by the roots being there and that means they can be there by factors we all can have because i am surely nothing special ... English now thats a language worthy of scholars ...

Peace! ~ Graham

Hi Robert;

I know I personally could never say no to any potentiality after death. Not when I look in the mirror everyday, and see something that is so unbelievable as the human being. A being that is made up of trillions of particles all working in unison so that it may look at itself.

When I am faced with contemplating how something so unbelievably complex as a human being, can look at itself. I find it very hard to deny anything so simplistic, in Ideal, as an everlasting soul. An everlasting soul made up of 'experienced energy', sounds so simplistic to me.

As you stated above Robert, about near death experiences. There is even more endless examples of the human experiences with spirits of one sort of another. But I guess until we can capture a spirit in a test tube, we will just have to say it does not exist.

Allen.

Paradox of Potential popped Aware.

"I have no special talents. I am only passionately curious." Albert Einstein 1879 - 1955

"In questions of science, the authority of a thousand is not worth the humble reasoning of a single individual." -- Galileo Galilei.
