How Graybeard got his name
(in one step.)

Down hilly dale
Like’n navy hale
MC’kail!, MC’kail! The hew
Clopped came the horseman true
And all his red pirate crew,
Scabbards from they drew

For on the shore stood proud
His beard a mighty shroud
Stiffened leg so gimped
“She is min’ she is min’ a whimper skimp
And feared the all with sweaty palm
With quicken rattle ah’ now, upon,
The sand and closing fast

Well just one more he thought before dies cast
And no sign of wooden distant mast
So in the fog
He missed the log
Swirled out of pipe and lung
Foul ode like swampy dung

And found himself so high
Where all below gnashed there cry
Again’ she’s min she’s min so spewed
From grey fog rise to morning dew
Come down come down shouted all
By trolls, fairies, dragon ants he saw

Grey’ bearded now saw and found
In fear of trolls o sharpened pound
Melted in the urchin tryst
Moreover, ants soon bathed in yellow mist
Accorded not belief
He stepped to all relief.

LOL ... well G_Burnett ... I'm not sure if you wrote the poem, or got it off the net and simply placed my Avatar in it. But in any case its terrible .... When it comes to writing poetry 'off-the-cuff' I think I'm still way ahead on points

Tina ... Just got a new camera, I'm very proud of it and can't stop playing. My first Digital. The bottle of wine on the table is Penfolds 1967 (bottled 68 hand typed label).... I'll split it with you in Nimbin .... Thats half-way in distance and wine .... rotflmao

and yes you can pee higher on the wall then me as I find my 6'8" better with age to squat .. nice pics to

Wow ... I'm very sorry ... I just assumed you got it off the net. I will re-read it with a more favourable bias. I wouldn't have said what I did otherwise. Thanks for taking it so well.

It pays to have a thick skin around here ... LOL

6' 8" that 2000mm ... I'm 1850 .... My father used to say the only thing I was handy for was getting things down from high shelves ... LOL. What did yours use you for, painting the roof without a ladder ...?? LOLOL

Yes ... the camera is great ... but I've had to work 2 months of overtime, with another month to go just to pay for it.

Its not a luxury penthouse in Nimbin ... but it is in Brisbane, not a penthouse tho ... just a unit ... below there are a few restaurants, wine bar and shops etc. I like it ... a bit noisy with the Shafston Pub across the road ... but half the time its me makin the noise over there ... not far to roll home ... LOLOL
