Well I've not really bothered to venture that far. I've stayed rested in things we've actually been able to see. So, for me, the electron, positron and the proton etc, ,I've only kept my thinking at this scale of matter for the time being. If there is a unifying principe to be made you only need two points of reference, small and big, and for that system to work for both. If there were a 3d model of how the quark and lepton fit in with the proton electron, I'd like to see it though.

All these quarks and leptons, and now Bosons. . .Well. I'm not sure they are really all that necessary really, at least not for the unification models. Unless of course, the whole system needs to be revamped. . .so maybe I guess ?

Re: What happens after you die?

These particles would be necessary because mass and electrical charge are fundamentally defined by these particles.. probably even gravity

Unhappy Re: What happens after you die?

Hi Mikal:

I agree with you that reading what other people wrote is not a way to go, but it give others insight to think about and maybe they can jump start their lives and/or explore their own spirituality and life purpose. Everyone has a purpose here.

Hi Harmo....nice to chat with you! Yes exceptionally good writers can give us insight, profound writers can touch our hearts instead of our heads and yes to live purposively is certainly the experience of jump-starting ones life. I guess what I was trying to say is to believe nothing and question everything....it seems to be a path to true knowledge...

Austin:

It look as though you are not very happy being on this planet. I AM. You are critizing what I wrote about purpose. I was born with a gift, and I know I have a purpose here, infact I am living it. I am not here by a mistake. I was just sharing my insight how I feel. Hiting my shin will not justify my purpose, it is more to the soul than hitting the shin, so I don't have to sleep on it. When one thinking is so small, I don;t think they have evolve fully in their intelligence. I know of our meaningful saying. BE IMPECCABLE WITH YOUR WORDS; DON'T TAKE ANYTHING PERSONALLY, DON'T MAKE ASSUMPTIONS AND ALWAYS DP YOUR BEST NO MATTER WHAT.

I will not judge anyone's finding. I do understand what you are trying to say. Everyone has their own believe system.

Harmo, I am am indeed happy and I love being alive. One should not make assumptions, for It's OK on ToeQuest to discuss pro and con, good and evil, myth and truth. We discuss ideas—don't take personally as a shin.

Re: What happens after you die?

In MY OPINION, when you die, depending on the individual, all energies bound to the body are released. If you have enough energy, it can move on to join other energies of 'spirit'. I am not a believer in God or anything of that sort. I believe in energy, and matter. And I think that your life energy can be absorbed by other life. But basically, when you die, YOUR DEAD!!

You mean like when you shit at the time of death, your releasing some energy ? The only spirit I think about is the poor soul who'll have to smell me in the autopsy. lol.

Your body still has energy after death, in the same way a dryed corpse can be used as fuel in a furnace. Or, even thousands of years later as oil. Which is why we should all be buried in Exon mass graves damn it ! I mean, think of the short term methane supply if only !?
