The reason being.....you can not extend the theories of the micro into the macro world
Many people have seen that they DO NOT WORK.....

The E. Cartan's equations defining "simple" spinors (renamed "pure" by C. Chevalley) are interpreted as equations of motions for fermion multiplets in momentum spaces which, in a constructive approach based bilinearly on those spinors, result compact and lorentzian, naturally ending up with a ten dimension space.
Wether(sp?)or not the theory will fit in a brain is not helpful to throw at someone. Our senses are overwhelmed with processing loads as it is. Often when one gets the idea to go to these other dimensions, they end up in the commitment section of a local hospital. Equations of motions in momentum spaces is a great step, but what of reverse momentum. Does the space collapse when the momentum reverses? Or is it like energy and can not be created or destroyed? Is it only experienced to be believed? A ten dimensional space, who owns that precious real estate? Obscene riches comes to mind. It could be you and your brain. Are you prepared for such a thing?
