If I understand your technique correctly, the day you die would be much closer than if you also perfected meditation that did not require keeping the body perfectly still. Granted, masters can enter such a state and not need food, fluids, and toileting with the same frequency that the rest of us do, but these are still needs. Also, is it not the duty of a master to teach his wisdom? How can that be accomplished in utter stillness?

Meditation, yoga, being associated with like minded people, these are all ways of connecting
and beginning to feel part of something, rather than apart from,I have been involved with
many self help groups over the years, and have seen first hand the lonliness and utter
isolation that many experience, but when these folk gain a little confidence, and begin to
share their experience, strengh, and hope, with each other, you can actually witness them
coming "alive" and beginning to blossom, this is a most remarkable privileged thing that
I have personally witnessed.

Without being connected,we wither and die.

The Tao can not be taught it can only be caught like an infection from one in whom it is fully "Manifested."

"Be Still To Know God." The teaching of the true Spiritual Masters is that Wisdom is the Tao and it is only experienced in complete body and mental stillnesss i.e. raising the consciousness above the body. With practice one can reach the state of being a Consciously Aware Spirit separate from the body and in full control of the - body - senses - mind - and its thinking - on a continous day in and day out basis. This is His Kingdom come on Earth as it is in Heaven that we pray for in the "Our Father."

It is mentioned in the scriptures that the body is a temple of god; so when we raise our consciousness from the body, that means the 'god' too leaves his temple till it(conscious) returns back into the body! Moreover it is said, consciousness is omnipresent, so what is it that leaves& from whom? When the Jeevi (individual-self) merges in the cosmic-self, body-senses-mind exist no more, it is 'awareness' that is. Raising of consciousness from the body (obe) 'experience' is different from 'realisation' of the Self. with love.ls.

The urge to share and to show,"look what I have found/done/achieved/bought,these are
human emotions that urge us" tell someone about it,"Without this natural outlet,we suffer
as one who is "cut of from the whole"we need connections, and to be connected, this is our
destiny and our birthright, cut of from this,we become less than whole,we become ill,and
dis-eased,isolation and lonliness are dreadful states for a human to be in.

We need the warmth of feeling loved and cared for,we need to share our lives with others
and feel part of something bigger than ourselves.

Coldness and numbness are associated with the idea of being isolated and lonely.
When we connect with one another it creates a natural warmth and validates our
existence.

— The Prison —

I can never share a mind directly,
For there is no access; we are alone.
Mind melding works only for the Vulcans.
This loneliness leads us to company.

— Loneliness —

The unbearable solitude of consciousness
Is relieved by literature, social clubs,
Movies, caring, friendships, discussion, writing,
And other sharing acts, but, mostly, by love.

We could change this by connecting chips to the brain for example, so we could communicate in a telepathic way (but I don't know if it's already possible).

But would that be good?

I think it could have advantages and disadvantages.
(I think we could already think what the disadvantages could be.)

It is said that a man thinks about sex every 6 seconds. It might just not always be appreciated.

Toequesting without having to say what you think? Just exchanging thoughts?

Leaders of governments exchanging thoughts? Could it trigger a war? At least we now have the luxuary not always have to say what we think. (Knowing what everybody thinks might just not make us feel good or even being shocked; listening to Freud, maybe it could 'heal' us more; but it could be a little too much in one instant; more than we can handle; triggering our wars. If we would somehow activate telepathy, we might better foresee some kind of a switch or filter which recognizes and deletes certain thoughts before we know them).

I think pure telepathy would give us some freedom, but it would also take some freedom. (Question is: which one do we prefer the most; cause I think once you got it, it might have changed you and you might never get back).

I'll also remark that I once played a game controlling a spaceship with my voice; the first thing which happened was selfdestruct (it missunderstood me). (but of course remarking also that I find the technology great and a huge step forward).

I think also more and more virtual worlds will be created. Wouldn't this tell us something about our perceived world?

Also we might be able to create 'Gods' by making very large and fast 'AI'-computers with special gifts which exceed human capabilities. I think of Mozart, Bach, Einstein, ...

Connecting ourselves to chips eventually might let computers or machines control the world; I don't really believe in a giant terminator which will destroy us (although it's possible), but connecting ourselves again and again, more and more, controlling everything (also emotions), might progressively make the idea of human disappear.

God created human; will human create God?

Nowadays, it seems to be possible to control a mouse or a bull with kind of a joystick.

What if we make a net-work of human beings? What will be the server?
It's possible; could the fact that it's possible tell us something about reality?

For example you connect two human beings; one thinks: 'move the leg' and the other moves the leg.
Talk about exorcism.

Wouldn't this connecting of humans be dangerous (even on its own)?

You could also use a secret weapon, controlling lots of humans and their emotions; with the server.
(Also think about the virus).

What if we would connect two mouses to see if there could be a connection with schizophrenia?
(alternating schizophrenia?)

Could we connect cells this way? (off course they are very small).

(If they're not too small); connecting two fruitflies (one is smelling, the other is not) and give them a stimulus to observate time perception?
Connecting two fruitflies (one in a cold environnement and one in a hot environnement) to observate time perception?

A drugged one and a normal one? Dopamine?

Connecting chloned animals?

Connecting a living animal and a dying or dead one? (I know it's too brutal; think it's unethical). (But could it be interesting?) (or one in a vegetative state?)

Connections are essential to our wellbeing,we are physical, mental, and spiritual beings,
evolutionary law fufils itself by connection, synthesis, transmutation to higher levels of
united consciousness. We "appear" to be many, but in truth we are one, when we realize this our "island" becomes a super-continent.
