Whether we know it or not we are all connected, truly no man is an island.
If only we had the vision to See this!If we could then this question would be self-evident,we would see that we existed amid swirl after swirl of energy, each
inter-mingling with the other,we would see clouds of vapourus-coloured energy
and we would all be enveloped within it,as we cannot see this, then we enter into debates about, imagine that we are somehow seperate from the rest. When
we can begin to see that we are all interconnected, and follow that through,it
will lead us closer to understanding the nature of reality. From our inner-core
at the sub-atomic level right through to the physical body-we are linked together.

Many of us at times seem to wander and find ourselves in "terra incognita"
alone and in need of directions. All we have to do is ask someone?Sometimes
that can be difficult,as pride and ego bar the way!We all need to get connected, but this is easier said than done.I know that in the line of work
that I do,I regularly meet lonely and isolated people, who are fearful of making
an approach to anyone!until it becomes a crisis. But often after this, you can
see a dramatic change in a person,as they become less isolated, and warm to
new found company.

We are apart of the whole, a small part but an important part. I believe we are all connected, one way or another. There's a connection between everything from the bugs to the trees, to the air to us to the earth, to the mountains to the moon to the sun to the stars. There are to many distraction for us humans. We are taught so many ways about our differences and very little about our similarities. Take religion for an example.....

It is by going within ourselves, that we escape the illusion and heresy of seperateness,
This is best done by the practise of meditation,or some form of yoga.
By directing our gaze inwards, rather than without,we begin to see and make connections.
This acts much like a "pebble in a pond" sending out ripples in ever increasing circles.
As we begin to identify more with all manifestation, there will often come with this an
expansion of awareness, and of consciousness. We will begin to see patterns emerging,
and see signs of universal intelligence, where ever we look.

I agree, the deeper we look within and realize our true selves it makes it easier to understand the connection we have with everything else. It seems like the deeper in we go , the further out we begin to understand. Life becomes an acceptable phenomenon and you learn to go with the flow. Some things you can change and others are out of your control. With our primitive attitude would finding the T.O.E. at this day and time be the answer to our problems or the beginning of new problems?

MEDITATION,
Meditation is simply another word for " concentration. " My sole purpose for posting in these forums is to help others to learn and to - attempt - to raise their consciousness above the physical - material body. And, in the process of rising above the body to lessen and possibly even avoid the - pain - sorrows - suffering - decay - aging - dis-ease - and death - that identification of our consciousness with the physical body brings us.
How to meditate i. e. concentrate and where it is to be done to achieve the desired effect of rising above body consciousness. In the process of praying we talk at God - in the process of meditating we listen to God. The process of meditation involves becoming aware of our attention (i.e. spirit)
and the purpose of meditation is to reunite our attention ( the outer expression of our consciousness or soul ) back with its source the soul or consciousness within us.
This very problem is explained in the Bible in Hebrews 4:12 but not understood re "The word of God is quick (living and conscious) and powerful ( energy of Light & Sound ), and sharper than any twoedged sword (note twoedged in that it cuts both ways one to devide one to unite), piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul (inner consciousness) and spirit (its outer expression or attention), and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner ( discern = the ability to see below the surface clearly and sharply - implies more consciously - and to judge accurately ), of the "thoughts and intents of the heart."
Meditation or concentration is done with the eyes closed - in any pose in which we are most comfortable - with lying down we tend to fall asleep - so it is better sitting up if possible. When we sit for meditation we are not to move our body as movement makes us aware of the body we are trying
to rise above. We close our eyes and focus our attention or concentration in the eye - focus. We are not to try stopping our thought as that itself is a thought - it is the focusing of the attention with full concentration that stops thought.
We look minutely - intently - penetratingly - at the darkness and it will burst forth into Light - nature abhors a vacuum and if we learn to hold our concentration in the focus - we will either rise above body-consciousness or if we lose our concentration we will go out of the focus and see thoughts.
With practice we soon realize that when we lose our concentration we become our thoughts in that we are no longer aware of the Self we were aware of when we were fully concentrated in the eye- focus. This is how and where consciousness loses awareness of itself in the act of thinking.
This is a very important point that we need to fully understand if we are to rise above the body - we must - " with our eyes closed " - have our attention focused about 10 inches outside. If our attention is focused inside we will be aware of our breathing and of our body and we will be unable to rise above it.
What we are attempting to do here is to separate our consciousness or spirit from the mind or matter and we simplify the process by giving the mind something to keep it occupied while our attention separates from it. This is done by a mantra or prayer or any name of God that we are comfortable with. In getting the mind to repeat the mantra we are keeping it occupied and it is not able to interfere with what we are doing.
The key to this process that will open this door for us is that our attention " must be focused on our looking " not on the words we are saying with our thought. The prayer or mantra is done with our thought not with our voice. This is important to achieve any success. The mantra or prayer must
be done with the tongue of thought or there will be no success.
If you see a dot of light fully focus your concentration on it and it will burst forth and you will experience your consciousness as spirit independent of and freed from your body. There is no experience in this world to compare with the bliss and "peace that passeth all understanding" that comes with this experience - and you know - that as spirit you never die and death becomes a laughing matter in that there is no more fear and you too say "Oh death where is thy sting."
When you achieve success at rising above the body level of consciousness you will see and experience micro-galaxies. They are a fact . I have seen and been in these spiritual realms. They are planes of consciousness vibrating at a higher frequency than this physical - material world.

Lonliness is one of the most saddest things to witness or live through,I have seen birds
who were caged alone, and have pulled out all their feathers,to look at that poor creature
to me was to feel the pain of being alone, human beings too who are alone and have no
inner connection, seem to wither and die,not only do we need an outer connection, but
more importantly we need an inner one too.
The main but often hidden reason for informed beings such as us,is to make and see
where the connections are.The more we make, the more of the inner life force we exhibit.
As we grow in awareness and our intuition is fired,we see that all is connected to all,
and that we are really a part of a unimaginal whole.

The whole of life, the main reason we have evolution and are all caught up in the cycle of
expressional expansion.
As we expand in conscious awareness, the inner-drivers,the monitor within, seems to coax
us to "see" where the connections are,and to then understand them!
If we put aside resistance to these inner prompts we will grow and expand in wisdom and
knowledge.
We will see that all "things" are really one,and that we will never be or feel alone again.

It is not just a place for beginners to start - it is the ultimate concentration wherein one in perfect stillness of body and mind rises above the body by stopping thought and experiences themselves as a Pure Infinite Aware Conscious Spirit separate from the body and the world.
I am not talking theory this is what i have experienced and continue to experience off and on. My goal is to enter that state of Infinite Consciousness separate fron the body and stay there continously free of the body until the day i die.
