    Smile Consciousness of the atom!

No one has ever seen, smelt, heard, touched or tasted an atom, the atom belongs wholly to the domain of metaphysics. It is an entified abstraction-at any rate for physical science, and has nought to do with physics, strictly speaking,as it can never be brought to the test of retort or balance.

Every atom in the universe has the potentiality of self-consciousness in it,and is,like the
Monads of Leibnitz,a universe in itself, and for itself,it is an atom and a angel.

Modern physics while borrowing from the ancients their atomic theory, forgot one point, the
most important ofthe doctrine;hence they got only husks and will never be able to get
at the kernel. They left behind,in the adoption of physical atoms, the suggestive fact that
from Anaxagoras down to Epicurus, the roman Lucretius,,and finally eventoGalileo, all of these philosophers believed more or less in (animated) atoms, not in invisible specks of
    so called "brute" matter.

    Hi Michael:
The principle of cosmic Equator and universal Self-referencing, demand that every material unit of the Cosmos, exhibits a definite level of self-consciousness according to its frame of reference.
    Truely your friend,

All is life, and every atom of even mineral dust is a life, though beyond our comprehension
and perception, because it is outside the range of the laws known to those who reject
esoteric science and occult science.Life precedes form and life survives the last atom of
    form.

Universal life manifests for the purpose of the collective progress of the countless lives, the outbreathings of the One life;in order that through the Ever-Becoming,every
cosmic atom in this infinite universe, passing from the formless and the Intangible,
through the mixed natures of the semi-terrestrial,down to matter in full generation,
    and then back again.

    regards michael.

    Re: Consciousness of the atom!

Quantum mechanics long ago put an end to the image of the lone atom as a miniature planet of solid material, encircled by moons of electrons that spit out or absorb meteors of photons as the energy of the atom increases or decreases.
So what is the real picture?

A fog of uncertainty if in isolation. The manifestation (a word to your liking Mike) of a potential, or the information of the underlaying matter wave at the point of observation. Not solid at all. Ripples of spatial disturbences, not distinct or separate but part of realities cloth.

If viewed as a part of the whole, the atom becomes an intersection of interaction, determined in units of what we consider the fundamental particles. Intersecting waves decohere into the buiding block of physics and chemistry and the rest of determined reality. Evolution takes care of the rest.

We need to rid ourselves of this orbital picture of the atom

I agree with you Mr nobody that we need to rid ourselves of this image, but the image persists still in many minds, what i am attempting to do here is "use" the atom as a focal
point,to say that all "matter" will evolve into self-realization in the aeons yet to come.

    Re: Consciousness of the atom!

We can feel atoms, as long as there are a sufficiently large number of them. Self-conscious atoms do not seem particularly likely, and atoms obviously do have something to do with physics, as well as no longer being described as the most fundamental particle (the fundamental particle is a quanta of space-time). It is consciousness that is capable of self-realisation, not the things we are conscious of.

    Re: Consciousness of the atom!

It is arrogant of man who already has attained self consciousness to deny this opprtunity to the "lesser lives" such as the atom! We have no idea of the vastness of the great idea of evolution, why we were once in the centre of a star and are indeed made up of stardust, were we self conscious then? Hardly!
The opportunity to evolve is open to all manifestion and it will be so,but not today!
