Could be. Otherwise these artifacts should have been found in abundance. Though we cannot deny that intelligence is not a domain of our civilisation only. OTher individuals during other ages would also be as intelligent as us...

Well yes they were,I agree,the problem most encounter is not being able to accept
a civilisation in advance,or equal to ours long,long,ago!
