While looking around an ancient site which dates back at least 4000 years,a place called
Caunos,I found quite by accident (I was actually "chasing" a tortoise at the time to try and
photograph it)I found the top of what I later discovered to be stone wine bottles,I photgraphed the object,then replaced it where I found it,I was however very tempted to
put the piece in my bag!
You could "feel" the atmosphere there,now long deserted,but then a great trading post
where ships would dock and trade,there was also a temple there to a Roman Goddess
where I had my lunch on the alter-stone,very errie!
