OK, let's make it so by making it up…
There is a Guy such as described as that there is a Guy…
That way, we will have purpose; however, the downside would be that it would be but His purpose. Probably nothing is known about that either…

But Austin " It's only make believe "
Yes, but no one remember that any more, and, besides, it fills the gap of not knowing, a no-no to the brain, for the mind's purpose is to try to know things…but can't… so, doesn't compute… so… guesses… assumes… goes on past that…
We make up for this by defining God by what He is not, rather than what He is, such as "He is not seen; he is not knowable."
In this way we inadvertently detract even more from what "God" is, by completely moving away from what "God' is.
They say [guess] that God made the Universe, but then, of course, God and the Universe that He made would be two separate things, like, you know, what Fredrick and we call the Potential—the origin of the Universe vs. he result: the universe.
And for me the universe is only a part of God. Not created but Eternal. And so as you can't walk away from the universe, the universe can't walk away from God.
Prof, that still doesn't say anything until we define it as whatever, like affecting atoms, being the Higgs particle, etc. It's just like saying life is the universe, but, really, you know, the universe is the universe, like A=A and God is God, being complete, G=G, way before the universe was even around.
(I hope that you are not making stuff up here!) Ha-ha.
The universe is the best (and only) place to be. Since it appears to run on its own, you would have to say what God adds to it (or what would be taken away if God left), in order for God to be in it… otherwise the complete universe is just the complete universe… and by any other name is still the complete universe…
(No making stuff up, unless you admit it.)
OK Austin, I view the universe is within God, and if the universe is necessary, then God would have to be necessary also. And I agree the complete universe is the complete universe.
So once again did the unverse come from something, and if so what is that something.
