Re: Maslow's hierarchy of psychosocial needs

One of the strongest psychosocial needs that I have encountered among individuals is the need for a sense of 'place', a sense of 'home', no matter how humble such may be.

For the 7 billion+ that inhabit the planet, Earth is our home, and based on the best of our research thus far, there's 'no place like it' within hailing range. Every species on this planet likewise requires a niche, a habitat, to secure it's existence and continuance.

Our physical needs are relatively easy to satisfy, yet our psychological and spiritual needs (which perhaps are the same) are needs that we spend our lifetime in pursuit and analysis towards understanding. In the midst of constant change, some things remain the same.

Yes, it is indeed a beautiful book to read, if you PM your address to me I will gladly post it on to you. I finished reading it in 2001 michael.

Btw, I've read it many times, its one of those books that make you want to do that, so I might just read it again before I post it off to you.

Have you sent me a pm yet michael. I've not heard from you?
I'm not sure if I'm even accepting them, I think Greg may have altered my settings to not accept pm's.

If pm does not work we can always try am (alternative messaging).
Time independence: [∂E(g)]²=[∂F(a)×∂r(a)]·[∂F(b)×∂r(b)] and Mass independence: a(tr(t)=c²
