The Chinese philosopher Confucius said.
He who knows and knows he knows, he is wise, follow him. He who knows and knows not he knows, he is asleep, wake him. He who knows not and knows he knows not he is simple, teach him. He who knows not and knows not he knows not he is a fool, shun him. | I Have one more to add:
He who knows not and thinks he knows, he is a _____, so _____ him. Can you think of two words that enter here?

| | And, he who knows but thinks he doesn’t know, but can't post because has no internet, can't publish because has no money and can't write because is analphabetic (is it this word?) but is brilliant and actually proves Einstein is wrong? We will never know...

| Wisdom vs knowledge Guille;
Confucius was not a scientist but he was wise.
Don't confuse wisdom with knowledge.
Ignorance is cured with knowledge.
Stupidity is cured with wisdom.
It is easier to cure ignorance.

Dave | I guess that when you say ignorance is easier to cure you mean easier than stupidity. Well, don't you think that both knowledge and wisdom are greatly related? When someone has a lot of knowledge, s/he is wise.

When someone has a lot of knowledge, s/he is wise. | I agree that they are deeply related. But I would venture, that wisdom would be knowing how to use knowledge.
