Re: Cultural Complexities Affecting Childhood Development

The most humble Graybeard appears from the mists of Australia, bringing the light of reason into the dusty haze of the influenza death thread wherein humans are recommended to fall like ants for lack of vaccine, as with the Indians of America and the natives of the Pacific.

Shall we return to the days of polio? I was vaccinated. My friend wasn’t. She got it. I didn’t.

Yes the truth hurts and reality is not always nice and even sometimes hard to face....best Austin that you go back to your world of poetry and fantasy and floating on puffy clouds.

This is a serious thread about cultural complexities we all need to understand. Like a restaurant, if you don't like the menu then go eat elsewear....

Re: Cultural Complexities Affecting Childhood Development

Dear Peoples .... I have been away for a while and also have not been keeping up with this thread.

The moderators have been receiving a number of reports about this thread.

First: This is Mikal's thread and she has the overriding right to direct it.

Second: TOEQuest welcomes spirited (even heated) discussion .... but not outright antagonism! In my opinion, its OK to tell someone their views on a particular subject need urgent rethinking (lol)... It is not OK to call anyone a fool

Third: This thread is informative, verified by the number of people who post in it and read it.

Fourth: All parties please keep the number of reported posts down .... reporting posts is not a tit for tat system ... it is a last resort, and other avenues are also available (private PM's, etc)

If someone genuinely feels they have been referred to slightingly, I will gladly edit the offending posts ... but please remember that part of Robert's mission statement is that spirited and heated discussion can quite often bring forth new ideas.

Hi Mikal ..... well I can't accuse you of hearsay this time .... the number of sources you have listed is overwhelming.

I checked the first few. I found none of them, where they related to vaccine conspiracies, to be mainstream. That is, they are opinions that are considered controversial by the FDA and many other reputed bodies.

I will quote one: Joseph Mercola

This is good ..... but then he claims all grains should be eliminated from diet .... this is not a paleolithic diet ???

Mercola, theorises that food intolerances involving gluten, such as celiac sprue and wheat allergy result from the relatively recent introduction of grains into the human diet, which he suggests also causes hyperinsulinemia and insulin resistance.

Mercola encourages the ingestion of saturated fats, including unrefined coconut oil, which contains a form of saturated fat called medium chain triglycerides.

Mercola claims in his book "The Total Health Program" that this particular type of saturated fat bypasses normal saturated fat digestive pathways in the body, and is turned into energy instead of clinging to arteries and veins. The American Heart Association disagrees, stating that saturated fats contribute to heart disease.

Mercola promotes the consumption of raw milk and criticises pasteurization, stating that it is unnecessary if cows are raised under healthy conditions. He claims that raw milk is one of the best sources of protein and calcium and claims that high-temperature pasteurization destroys enzymes in milk and creates converted proteins the body cannot handle. These claims are controversial and are not supported by the Food and Drug Administration.
Mikal .... please ask yourself what the death toll would be if we stop pasteurising milk. Do you know what pasteurising is ?

How many people would die if it was forbidden to grow rice (grain) ??

I suggest you read more about him HERE. Especially read the section where he claims microwave ovens are one of the great curses of civilisation .... also the section on religious views

I don't think he can be taken as a serious reference

All posts in this thread must relate to the issue .... otherwise they will be deleted.

All else being equal, then Mikal's views will override as this is her thread.

    Please comply.

Re: Cultural Complexities Affecting Childhood Development

Hi Greg....I am following a battle between Neuroligists and Immunologists versus medicine and vaccinations. I am not a follower of Mercola, he just leads me to ongoing studies. Have never studied the man because he is a stepping stone to studies I am following.

I did not create this battle..I am just studying it and find it holds merit as to serious studies into what is seen as early infantile neuroanatomical damage, early damage to the infant's and children's fragile developing immune system in relationship to escalating rates of illness and disease in our societies in relationship to present escalating vaccine programs seen as having a strong connect to growing rates of illness and immune disorders....

I consider what has been going on here for afew days as an outright attack on the integrity of my thread. I consider the use of words like "sanitizing" for example as a strong negative impression to viewers. As the creator of this thread I hereby give you permission Greg to discuss this matter with Robert and I will respectfully follow his decision. Until that is decided, I will make no further posts to this thread....

Thank you to all who have viewed this thread to date....

Re: Cultural Complexities Affecting Childhood Development

hmmm I have a hard time determining if the posts are being made in an information attempt to the varied views on things like vaccines to just show by the much varied views the complexities of parenting ... without slanting the views to a pro or con personal view one leaves the information open for discussion and why or why not the view presented in the first place is correct or not.

I have enjoyed the repeated inference that it is all a number game of either a bean counter or a death record and indeed a complex world we live in affecting childhood developement.

Using ones best parental instinct in the face of what information can be acquired of a non bias report is taking ones best guess ... anything less is a shortchange of the child, anything more is putting the child at risk.

We can not leave that dissuasion up to authority anymore but that is a changing veritable of possibility and IMHO

    Kind regards graham

Re: Cultural Complexities Affecting Childhood Development

This thread has been about exposing the other side, the hidden side of all complex issues. It is about the studies not allowed to reach the public as power deters them and silences many legitimate concerns that have now become huge social issues.

I have accomplished my task and my mission to allow people to know there is another side to all the issues we face. I will consider a small success that I have posted enough relevant information for people to realize the great need to question the truth about what they face in social issues.

G...especially you I would like to thank for great participation and discussion. Those others who wandered in like Timeparticle and LW and Leskey....thanks for participating. Ghosty gave the thread the real heart and soul of a parent and although gone is now a private and dear friend collected throughout the endeavor...

To all viewers, thanks from the heart and a last word. My final advice...keep searching, questioning and discover true navigation in life. Parents with educational issues...remember my statement when protecting your children.."whose children are they"????

I honour my father in closing here...he always told me.."know when enough is enough...."

    Sincerely Mikal
