    Re: Saturday Night Rules!

The day following Saturday, being the start of a new week, rather thought that the following song might be appropriate.

Meanwhile, why not share what you have planned for the coming Saturday night, as I just know that many folks have likely got that scoped out already...

.....also continue with the consideration of how the weekend ever came into vogue....

    Regards to all,

    The Seventh Day
The Sabbath Day. "By the seventh day God had finished the work He had been doing; so on the seventh day He rested from all His work. And God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on it He rested [or ceased] from all the work of creating that He had done." The day that is the basis for The Fourth Commandment. (Genesis 2:2-3)
The seven days represent the transition from 'Big Bang' through development of planet Earth finishing (on the seventh day)

    Re: Saturday Night Rules!

Now, now, SB__UK, it is unseemly to mix metaphors with religion. One must strive not to offend.

"Holy terrors" we might well qualify as, and we gather shortly after the witching hour, and I can assure you that if we several should all not show up, coincidentally on the same shift,, it would be a matter of considerable concern...

Cute graphics. Is that how you picture me? Spandex and Lycra does seem a distraction to the male population when modelled by a relatively well proportioned female.

Meanwhile, back at the ranch....Monday morning is my Friday evening and so it seems only appropriate that I play the following song, complete with a history lesson....

    Re: Saturday Night Rules!

In keeping with the current days of the week theme, here's a song about 'Tuesday', one originally done by the Rolling Stones, this version by Melanie.

    Re: Saturday Night Rules!

    Tuesday's Gone
    From Wikipedia, Producer Al Kooper

    "Tuesday's Gone"
    Song by Metallica
    Genre Southern rock

"Tuesday's Gone" is the second track on Lynyrd Skynyrd's first album, "(pronounced 'lĕh-'nérd 'skin-'nérd)". One of the band's most popular songs, its relaxing pace and serenading guitars have made it a fan staple. The lyrics, featuring themes of a relationship ending because of extensive touring, are similar in mood to the band's signature tune "Free Bird". The distinct introduction to the song features a mellotron, played by Al Kooper.

It's not a distraction. It's one of the few things worth paying attention to
